  • Wow that song kicks ass!!!!

  • how come i have never heard these guys??

    this is like fucking awsome...

  • God, I love the Mellotron...

  • Sporethmas,, you are wrong! Rap and HipHop are the degradation of America. And thats all there is to it

  • @coolingwater9111 lol i'm sure people said the same thing about disco. that's not the only music out there trust me

  • Music would not be the same at all without King Crimson.

  • epic

  • i have to say, lyrically and musically, one of the most beautiful and spine chilling songs ever written these lyrics surpass all ages and is fodder for the mind and states some of the best observations of our society in the most creative ways. All in all, king Crimson and all of its members, past and present, are legends in the scope of progressive metal and all genres in between. luv u guys. long live fripp!!!! (apologies for the length of this comment ~_~)

  • and may my epitaph be:

    brb

  • When silence drowns the screams not "as silence"

  • King Crimson is simply the best band of all-time.

  • The fate of all mankind I see is in the hands of fools....... That sentence was and still is, IMHO, one of the greatest sentences ever written in the history of Rock music. Written by Pete Sinfield. When I was in high school and the being present in the class room before the teacher was, I used to write that sentence in big white letters on the black board. Of course, when the teacher entered the class room, he erased that in a hurry, because, at that time, such thinking was sooo subversive!.

  • disco eterno. nient'altro da dire, ma solo da ascoltare.

  • Great Song... all I can say is I was there....

  • Greg Lake.

  • They were totally ahead of their time!

  • indescrptible el tema muy bueno mis 16 añitos de edad viva crimson

  • i'mm 2 ad kng crimso ;admksclmk

  • Look at that Big ol" Peckerwood ! :) QC

  • This is the sweetest singing in all Greg Lake's career...Sinfield extracted the deepest emotion of the late 60's, what a great lyricist!

  • Ok guys, If you haven't realized it already, my comment was supposed to be ridiculous . No, I am not really 4 years old. I was just mocking all the comments on youtube complaining about music today. There will always be good music out there, you just have to sift through all the garbage in order to find it. The only reason everyone acts like older music is better is because the only stuff that passed on was good; the rest was filtered out. There was shit back then; it just wasnt remembered.

  • @SPOREthomas I can't believe no one questioned it to be honest. I couldn't even fucking read when I was 4.

  • @gamemeister27 I could. But this guy is being sarcastic because of constant flow of "I'm X year old and I listen to this".

  • @SPOREthomas --back in the day, all the good stuff was on FM radio, & the top 40 forgettable junk was on AM. that made it much easier. these days i use pandora to find new good stuff.

  • @SPOREthomas

    Can't

    give

    enough

    thumbs

    up

  • @SPOREthomas can you please name some shitty bands back then ? don't really recall them, another theory I have is that people will always hate new music , I'm pretty sure that there were some people back in the sixties that looked up to The Beatles the same way we look up to modern pop and electronic artist today , and people back in the sixties that hated groups like the Beatles were probably listening to 20th century composers like Schoenberg or Shostakovich and Stravinsky who knows

  • @rafaelb1026 Shitty bands is all in taste, I could say I don't like "poppy sounds of the 1960s" but that's just my personal opinion... Just like some chicks back in they day, prob didn't dig Vanilla Fudge or Blue Cheer quite like some of us do/did... Take Ozzy for example, a lot of people hate him and treat him like devil worshipping hooligan when in reality Ozzy was 1 of the greatest front men ever (Jim Morrison, Robert Plant, Mick Jagger, Roger Daltry) and so on... But yea I agree

  • @SPOREthomas perfect comment.

  • @SPOREthomas you're wrong dude! tell me please 5 "new" bands, that play as good as PF, early genesis, king crimson, camel, led zeppelin!

  • @mertin54 1) random garage band u have never heard of

2)random garage band u have never heard of

3)random garage band u have never heard of

4)random garage band u have never heard of

    5) Animals as Leaders

  • @mertin54 well, those choices are going to be pretty hard to top because they're universally acknowledged as some of the greatest bands of all time, but I think Mogwai, GY!BE, Tool, Opeth, and Battles are all pretty good. I mean, it all depends on taste really

  • @SPOREthomas i'm not totally agree with you. ok there's great artist nowadays and there was shit at the time but the 60's and 70's were particulary lush. there's so much amazing artist and it's the result of a particulary time and mindset. Times changes, music changes too

  • @TheMountainsound Ok, perhaps the 60's and 70's were a time in which a lot of great music was produced, maybe even more so than any other decades of the 20th century; I'm not arguing against that. However, to dismiss all new music as crap and say nothing good is ever produced nowadays is completely irrational. There is still a lot being produced, whether influenced by those legends or entirely seperate. Maybe those 2 decades were particularly good, but that's debatable.

  • drummer is extremely musical!!

  • il santo graal del progressive!!!

  • EVERYONE HERE UNDER 18. SORRY FOR THE CAPS. GO LOOK UP TEN YEARS AFTER - HELP ME. Fillmore East. it's what raped me into good music. if you get through the whole solo. consider yourself saved.

  • i'm 18... unfortunately, I'll be tried as an adult if I beat all you annoying age announcers with a lead pipe.

  • @TheBoomstickhero good luck finding a lead pipe, and maybe don't breathe around it considering its lead. but steel works just as well, take it out of someones water heater. 2 birds. :D

  • I'm fourteen as well...I was brought here by Bad Religion! Good band :)

  • even after 40 years this song sends chills down my spine...

  • I'm 4 weeks and this is my favorite band. All this new music suckssss. No soul in it. I feel like I was born in the wrong decade.

  • M A E S T O S A

  • Confusion will be my epitaph... .

  • man i'm 14 and its really hard to believe the crap bands are pumping out nowadays...... where has creativity gone? Other than a few indie gems, nothing beats the 70's!

  • @crashonskis I understand what you mean about our generations taste in music but there has been great music made since and being made currently however probably it wont be appreciated for another 10 years but to have the notion that there hasnt been anything creative since is wrong in my opinion. we cant lose hope in this generation

  • @SurgeryStatus Lol "lil gayne"? Sure your not 12?

  • It was from out of this music that eventually Emerson, Lake and Palmer were formed to carry on.

Loved relistening to this after many decades have passed.

  • @SPOREthomas I'm glad everyone likes your comment.. but I have trouble believing you're four..

  • @SPOREthomas oh don´t found a other way for a thumb up? poor "4" year old fool.

  • @SPOREthomas it does. it very much does. its complete shit. and at the same time, this old music, its old, its done, its in a world that no longer exists. so kids nowadays are trying to live in the past because they don't trust making new music. and why should they? all thats on the radio is nickleback and bieber. don't worry though. those threats will be dead soon. and music will continue on.

  • @CantDenyDime There are still groups out there that still make good music. Listen to Burden by Opeth.
