  • god damn andy reed can play some fucking mandolin

  • If you like this, they are doing a show in Pegram on May 1st and a clinic May 2nd. Go to TimMay sight and check it out. David is the most authoritive mandolin man around!

  • I really enjoyed this video. Great picking by both of you. I have a 1924 L-4 that is just about the best sounding archtop I've ever played, and I've played some great ones. The most versatile archtop, that's for sure, although the 12 fret neck keeps you humble.

  • well said, very informative

  • I have seriously been looking at a Gibson L-4. I'm just curious how the back of the neck is on those?

  • Thanks so much! I love seeing these instruments in action and not just in a book!!! You guys sure know your stuff and sound fabulous!!

  • Didn't know Andy Reid was a smokin mandolin player! Thanks for posting....great playing and impressive collection....

  • AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Beautiful picken, I would love more. I love the mandolin, sounds great

  • Thanks, we pick pretty good too. Check us out. I have played numerous Gibsons including the O, L-4, L1, L7, etc. I have a '41 Recording King (Gibson built for Montgomery Ward) which is a '34 L5 size and it is the bomb!
