Now about the peave you mentioned about agile, running zombies. If you listen to the way the "disease" was described, it kinda explains it. These particular zombies weren't exactly risen dead, but humans with extremely bad cases of something like rabies only a hell of a lot worse. Okay, I'm done before my lose commenting fingers give away too much ;-p

Considering the plot of the whole movie, throwing in the agile zombies, I sort of look at this movie as a kind of spoof type spin of Will Smith's "I Am Legend". I realize that's probably not what the intent was, but there are arguably a lot of comedic parallels between the two movies.

I really dug Zombieland. I loved the comedy and especially loved that cameo! Fun stuff! If you enjoyed this, you may like Shawn of the Dead, which is a fantastic zombie comedy. Highly recommended.

Yeah it is a comedy. I got a kick out of it. I suppose I particularly enjoyed some of the pwnage Woody dished out on the zombies. I would say definitely worth renting.

Hey Dave,

I wasn't sure how you would take the movie being it had the comedy to it. I knew going in that it wasn't like most of the Zombie movies made in the past so my expectations were'nt to high for the movie. I liked it and thought it was different for a Zombie movie so I walked away from it with a good feeling. I loved Bill Murray....

I would not rank it up there with some of my favorite Zombie movies though..

I wasn't too impressed with the movie...i didn't hate it but i had much higher expectations than what it gave. And there wasn't really much focus on the zombies, it was more about the life of the nerd. :P
