Hej guys! I loved FF8 and now I have a problem...pls help
Is it possible to get saves from psx ff8 and transfer them to the psp ? I need saves before the last fight on the 2 disc...I had 4 characters with 100 levels..gf's with I can remember well but around 100 levels too. I played a lot of when I was younger but my 2 disc has crashed and I have never had a chance to end this game. PLS HELP What shoudl i do? I don;t want to play whole game again..100 hours are too many to repeat. ;-(

I'm seeking answers to that question too. my brother used to have a converter called PSPSONE, it has a memory card utility function in its main menu where you can copy saved files from one emulated game to another. unfortunately we lost that converter and the one we have right now is a different one w/c doesn't have a memory card utility function.
simple just save go to main psp screen and load up disk 2 make sure all disks have the same game ID for example my final fantasy VIII game ID is sles-0208
I'd help ya out, but seeing to be that I live in the US, that ain't happening, I actually don't know if you can do it without a modded PSP. Will have to look around, I'll let you know if I can find something.

Ahh 2004, you must live in Europe, well, take out the battery of your PSP and look at the serial number that is where the battery is placed, if it begins with HU2, it more than likely CAN NOT be hacked. ALSO look at the Date Code that is right above that serial number compare it to this list:
Yeah, you just dodged the bullet on that one by a little, I am trying to upload a howto on hacking a slim, (or any for that matter) but my internet connection ain't the best, I will get it up though, just a heads up though, to hack you need to use a psp that already has custom firmware on it, or maybe find a different method.
it keeps freezing for me at the dance on disc one im useing 3.90 m33-3 and ive tried it with popsloader it freeces in the same spot for each version help please anyone???
hey. i just converted the game w my cds using isobuster and psx2psp. the game starts normally on my psp but when i press new game, the screen just goes black. i cant see the opening cinema. Can anyone help me?
How did you get the icons to show up? I always thought that when you loaded a psx game onto the psp you got that weird crossbones thing as a icon and background. Also, I heard this game needs a patch to play correctly, is that true?

Guys...dark alex has a popstation program for PSP,where they'res no need for a fucking PS3 like everyone says to run it as long as you have the right firmware that is.
1st off its called firmware not filmware. just go to your system settings in your psp... but i would just suggest going to google and searching 4.01 m33 and youll find out what what CUSTOM firmware is.

Yes there is you can make multiple Disc ebbots.
I have FF8 all 4 CD with 1 Eboot but you must have at least 4 GB Memory Stick because the Eboot is over 2GB for FF8

well if you only make one disc... itll take around 553MB. but in order to make all 4 discs in one folder it would take like over 2 gigs

Upgrade to 3.10 OE- A, and then when you want to use 1.5, a simple downgrade is all you need.
