But seriously. Not exactly sure. I don't think he physically had the other arms. But the massive killing intent aura he was letting off made his opponent see them. However, the name of the move is related to Japanese legend of those multiple arms. So he was probably intending to. Happens in ep 290 - 290ish. So you should go watch and make up your own mind.

And omg... I just noticed... "Zolo"... It's Zoro. Trust me, start watching the Japanese version. So much better.
