I had some 3/8 AR plate and if you are close with a 357 mag it will show impact points but it did not show on dimples on the other side. I would not use a 44 mag on it. I did use a 20 gauge slug at 45 yards and it did show a big ding and also a good size bump an the reverse side. Nice target you have there.
@biguy525 so far this has help up well, no .44 at all unless its about 50 yrds, but its stupid at that point anyways, the 357 held up fine at around 18 yards, no issues yet
@Poppaswine33 thanks man.. go check him out over there got the link in the description.. wanna the last targets you will ever get.. lasts a lifetime with proper maintnance
Man, that is a fantastic looking target! I completely agree with you.. that chest plate makes all the difference. I've never seen one with the hostage AND a chest plate. Great review man. I look forward to seeing how it likes that M1A. Very cool video, and good to see you all can start getting outside again.
@noBuzzkillin yea man only problem with it is that i can never stop shooting at it.. went through almost 500 rounds today and i was by myself!!!.. and im gonna have to get hollow point ammo or lead tipped ammo so that was its a lil eaisier on the steel.. at least starting out i wanna make sure that im taking the best care of it as i should be..
@MyHollowpoint ohh alright...lol... yea it will kick it stright down, but the safest base to have is sand. , i have a tarp set up just to the right of me to catch the brass and during cleaning it up i saw some lead pieces and some jacket. its from it bouncing back off the ground. i thought with it being almost mud it would be ok but some did come back... so if you have a stationary place to put it back fill sand around the base to ensure everything will be A ok
Great targets 4 sure. Not only that one great guy to deal with.
