@totallykyle111 I never said Gina was funny, I just think we shouldn't judge people because of their gender or their skin colour. I am german, most of our comedy is rubbish regardless of those things, and I love british comedy and think there are very exquisite female comedians (French & Saunders, Catherine Tate, Sue Perkins ect). To ignore them and to say women are not funny, would imho not only be an offence to any woman with a sense of humor, but also to the female talents in peticular.

(Good) comedy is about things like desperation and struggle with life, but women tend to act like they have control about everything and oversee comical potential. Look @ Fawlty Towers: in generall the 2 female characters are not funny themselves, they belong to the powers that drive Basil Fawlty mad.

You're also using an example of a show specifically commissioned to highlight John Cleese! Fine, lets ignore the present and go back a bit further then: I Love Lucy. First TV sitcom to be a huge international hit and it focused on a woman who built a multi-billon dollar entertainment empire out of being willing to fall on her face.

There was an impossible question on an exam my friend took as well, the grade boundaries will be lowered and the marks reworked for the people who took that exam. In short: It doesn't effect your results. EVERYONE missed out on those 8 marks as I think it was worth, therefore the grade boundaries will be lowered by 8 marks and your grade will be the same as before. So chill. It's comedy.
