@swa6058 I used EZDok for the panning shots. It's a bit pf a pain to use at times, but the panning shots are really simple to get working. You just need to have quite dexterous fingers so you can move the camera across, forwards/backwards and up/down at the same time, as well as shifting the mouse smoothly.

I'm only having a playful jab though, I understand all the work that goes into making sim videos. The coffee, headaches, re-shoots, late nights and melting CPUs as Sony Vegas works its magic!!

I did really like the shot starting at 1m8s in your emirates video. That was a nice shot as the aircraft seemed to be doing the panning, not the camera.

Your EZDok action got smoother for the more recent vid too, which was nice. :)

@BDHH100 Yep, 10 aircraft. It didn't take too long though as as the process of psd to fsx-able bmp is only a three stage operation.

The fuselage is in three sections though, so lining them up is always the most trying bit!

I think it's all about setting the camera to float mode and then winding the speed right down and the smoothness right up.

@JohnyBravoSix I work in a bodyshop, have done for quite some time. Things come naturally, so I have about ten hours a day, every day, to think of stuff. Every shot in this turned out exactly as planned.

I had to work around a few issues though. The PA A320 won't play back as traffic in FS Recorder without crashing the whole thing, so I had to make some adjustments on the fly.

I was originally going to fill the airport with 'blanks', so the whole thing looked like a template!

@franthree I do love a lot of the sim video community's work, it takes a lot of time and effort. But I think EZDok is the main culprit for this 'cookie-cutter' style. Certain people do it beautifully, such as the guys I've featured on my channel. But there are a million other videos that this is aimed at.

In theory, it's impossible to offend people if you make them laugh, and put some effort in! This was my first ever time using EZDok without it glitching before I got anything useful!.
