Can sum1 explain the 3 out of 5 announcement for semi-finals? Did m2k win 2 at that point and thought he won the set but he had to beat armada one more time?

m2k didnt win 2, he has lost, what was THOUGHT to have been, a best 2 out of three. Once the announcement that semi's were, in fact, best 3 out of 5, m2k felt as if the set he had with armada was not over with and still had to be continued. Unfortunately, TOs decided that, because both m2k and armada went into their set with the mind-set that it was best 2/3, that the result would stand.

IIRC, Armada won the set 2-1. They found out later that it was supposed to be a 3 out of 5. I think Mew2King just blew it off or some crap. I dunno for sure though, I didnt go to Genesis.

Wow I'm sure he's a nice guy but Scar is getting way too emotional this match. Its simply poor sportsmanship to attribute the character instead of the player. Of the millions who play puff, there are only a hand full that are capable of playing puff to this ability. Puff isn't any more broken than any other character or any person who knows how to play the game could simply select puff and win every non ditto match. If Mango had started with Falco, I'm sure Scar would have said something similar

once u get to a certain understanding with puff, you can exploit your oppnents tendencies and weaknesses a lot more than they can you, and without putting yourself in an exposed situation. I hate to even say matchup advantages exist, myself, but in some areas, they do. n falcon gets the blunt end of these matchups. he can compete with high tiers and all, he just gets F***ed in certain spots where other chars wouldnt. And if you think puff isnt more broken then, say ganon, is, than ur just silly.

jiggs isn't broken, melee is just really balanced. all of the top characters are pretty equal and high tier chars compete easily with top tier. it isn't much of a gap, thats why this kind of stuff happens

Falcon is like his 8th character and he can beat anyone in falcon dittos, obviously including scar. He's just alot better.
