  • well fuck you im a platypus!!

  • commentators voice is so annoying ahaha

  • Yup, and we consider them one of our most cuddly animals. :)

  • I thought they are semi-aquatic, egg-laying mammal of action?

  • How come Doofensmirtz has never been spurred by Perry?

  • Why am I watching this. I have a test tomorrow.

  • Oh there you are perry

  • lulz

  • hmmm, would this make the Platpus a living transtional species?

  • My ultimate life aspiration is to own one as a pet, female of course so i dont get stung when i wanna cuddle with it! :)

  • I would name mine larry and walk him around the block with a leather leash and collar.

  • How come Spiders get to be their own Species, and Platypuses get to be mamals :(

  • @Tophisthebest226 You mean spiders get to be their own order, and platypuses are just one species. They are representing a whole family though, that's pretty cool. (Us humans represent a genus, which is 2 levels under a family.)

  • They don't do much.

  • I walk to school one day and talk to my friends.

    Me: My dog died. :(

Joe: Did it get run over?:D

James: Did it catch a disease?:0

Mark: Did it get shot? :-/

Me: No, a platypus clawed at it.....:)

  • weirdest animal on earth

  • I never knew they were poisonous!

  • @SebastienCade, they're not poisonous; they're venomous. There's a difference.

  • @DispleasingUsername Whats the difference?

  • @elisabethpancakes, poison is swallowed, while venom must be in the bloodstream to do any damage. I could swallow venom, and I would be fine.

  • why would they show a dog feeding milk to its babies? :s

  • @Canadianflipboy1 probably because even though the platypus lays eggs it feeds its young milk.

  • a platypus?.....perry the platypus

  • OMG! The horror!

Next episode. Meerkats, the piranhas of the desert!

  • National geographic is the worst portrayer of wildlife. It is extremely unscientific and primarily aimed towards mentally challenged americans.

  • I mount my platypus

  • Zomg I want one I want one :O

  • Perry has a dagger?

  • @utubeb14

It's because tasmanian isn't part of Australia "it's a throwback".

  • They should have mentioned that the pain from the poison can linger for years, sometimes the rest of your life.

  • Agent P !!!

  • "quote from video"

  • hey, where's perry?

  • oh there u are perry!

  • wheres his hat?

  • "At first glance, they make no sense." greatest line ever

  • And on the fourth day god made marijuana..His next animal was the platypus

  • The sting is said to be one of the most painful stings in the world.People have begged for the stung limb to be amputated, and that is not the end of it.It causes a "hypersensitivity" to pain. The result is that for up to 6 months after being stung, ANY pain you experience will seem twice as bad as it really should be.If you get migraines you are really in strife.

  • hey wheres Perry?

  • "And it goes from cute, to killer, in an instant"...Well DUH!! It's a secret agent!!

  • @naleyOTH4ever platypus canot be a secret agent that dum

  • @naleyOTH4ever lol good one

  • they don't do much you know

  • Perry the platypus is better

  • 'It goes from cute to killer in an instant'. Really, you don't think that is an overstatement? Give us a list of how many people were killed by Platypus compared to death by humans, dogs, cats, lightlning, bears, ants, bees, toilets, tv's, etc.

They are lovely little things, seing them in the wild should be a happy moment, not a cause for alarm or a reason to get a gun out.

  • He a p p p p p platypus

  • Thumbs up if you are watching this because of Phineas and Ferb!

  • And they say platypus don't do much!!!!!!

  • The Platypus is such an amazing creature.

  • "Oh there u are perry" lol

  • But wow.. I never platypus were so scary :SS

  • Lol.. you guys are funny. I am an australian, so they're nothing to us.. I mean we don't see them all the time.. but it's like a national, well known animal since we were young . :)

  • BRrrrrrrrrrrrr!platypus

  • thats a papapapapapapaplatapus!

  • Perry the Platypus?

  • "It goes from cute to killer in an instant. " I was like, "that's so ridiculous!" XD

  • It's a platypus. They don't do much.

  • @butocra They are. I actually just saw it back in Australia zoo.

  • one of my favourite aussie wild life animals :D

  • cute platypussy

  • a find the platypus as the epitome of WTF?.....

  • Proof that God as a sense of humor, also proof of God, and disproof of evolution... Why would an animal need to evolve in such a radical way?

  • @jwdesign336 Oh ffs... quit trolling.

  • Comment removed

  • @jwdesign336 in what way is it radical? it is verry unlike any one animal, but every single thing about it has prooven efficient in other species. even if it had "evolved in a radical way" it would only indicate that it did, as the theory of evolution predicts, evolve to fill a certain niche.

even if it didn't HAVE to evolve in this particular way, evolution can and does often produce unneseccecary features which are in some way benificiary or at least not a huge hindrance... like the appendix.

  • platypus'i are way older than phineas and ferb... that show is lame

  • Perry the Platypus is poisonous lol

  • this video is ridiculous... needlessly and, to be frank, inefectively dramatic a threat that just doesn't exist.

  • @Zhero4

Yea seriously, if i was a platypus id be scared shitless of HUMANS. Just look at all the sick things humans have done to each other and nature.

  • they're so cute!

  • perry the platypus

  • I wonder if platypus tastes closest to beaver, duck, or gator?

  • So maybe that's where Perry goes everyday...

  • If this reminded you of phineas and ferb, thumbs up.

  • Oh, There You Are Perry!

  • Perry the Platypus LOL!

  • I want to catch one and name it Slappy or Bill.

  • Pull push, plus a platypus, weirdest animal amongst us, diddle diddle twat twat, SWAT, midgets in the middle, answer my riddle, am I or am I not, the baddest motherfucker in the universe? You should guess, the answer is yes.

  • I thought they were green

  • "The fresh water Platypus lives in only 2 places on the entire planet. Eastern Australia and here, Tasmania."

I live in Tasmania, last time I checked we were still a part of Australia.

  • @TheZaneFace but Tasmania is a separate region from "Eastern Australia" though it is an eastern part of australia

  • @PM531 Mate, I live in Tassie, I think I know what I'm on about. We are part of Eastern Australia. Yes we are a separate state or region, but so is Victoria, A.C.T, New South Wales and Queensland, but they're all on the East coast too.

I think I would be a better judge of this rather than someone who lives in the United States.

  • *Head Assplodes*

  • Perry the Platypus

  • DAMN NATURE!!! YOU SCARY!!! :O

  • If not for josh ramsay, i wouldn't have watched this...

  • Thats what happens if a beaver butt fucks a duck ! :)

  • pretty intense music national geographic

  • PPPPPPPPlatypi have a PPPPPPPokerface.

  • They are really aggressive and attack if your in a lake or something.

  • So its a beaver / duck???

  • The Platypus does not combine 3 animals in 1. It has similarities with numerous other animals but is unlike almost all other animals. The Platypus also isn't a mammal, it's a monotreme. One of only two (that I know of - correct me) in the world. The other is the Echidna. Someone needs to have a chat with the script writers and producers.

  • @verticalsmurf Monotremes ARE mammals. They're one of three groups, the other two being placental mammals and marsupials.

  • @HeyThereSydney94 - You are spot on correct. I was/am wrong.

  • wow americans ftw there like its a dangourous animal!! im preety sure its not, im australian if i saw one attacking myy leg i would laugh and push it off, however theyy do shoot lazers when they roarr!

  • Oh there you are Parry

  • God: "What the fuck was I smoking when I made THIS?"

  • Still not convinced it's real.... sorry platypus.

  • I totally hate when they do this videos with creepy music, rapid-shot images and manipulated fights. They try to create a menacing atmosphere even from the most innocent looking animal. I am not saying this little guy is not dangeorus (it is poisonous after all) but cmon, dont portrait it like a killing machine... :)

  • @AnElmandAnOak Phineas and Ferb have achieved this, Perry the Platypus is the most badass mother fucker on the planet.

  • It's a example of a intermediate form and convergent evolution.

  • National Geographic TV is really weird.

  • lol i still can't take the Platypus seriously

  • Yeah, they make good secret agents too...

  • Even God has a sense of humour. Just look at the platypus. - Kevin Smith

  • @VinceInChains Dogma good man

  • This is mother nature's way of saying "I built this damn thing out of scraps I found on the shop floor, and it can STILL kill you. MUAHAHAHA!"

  • it does nothing

  • I laugh they made a documentary trying to rationalise its existence.

I never questioned that the platypus is just all forms of awesome.

  • CUTE

  • Okay. haha guys. but seriously.

    What the fuck is that?

  • "Oh, come on now, do you really expect us to believe a concoction of a duck, a beaver and a lizard is real? You're probably going to tell us it lays eggs next!"

  • @JBofBrisbane "Victims like dogs and cats die." *

  • @JBofBrisbane Platypuses actually do lay eggs. Its weird.

  • @JBofBrisbane it does lay eggs dumass-_-

  • @JBofBrisbane

either you are humorous or you are really dumb. =p lol

  • @JBofBrisbane u never heard of a damn platypus.....come on dog!!!!! LOL

  • Victims like dogs and cats die.

  • best ending ever!
