@creamfury So if you are at a break and an sup keeps paddling farther out than you can to catch waves its ok? What if there are not many waves coming through and the sup uses the faster paddling speed to take all the good waves (I have seen this) - do you just paddle in? No, you drop-in because thats the only way to catch waves around a greedy paddle boarder.

Initial Reaction to seeing the vid the first time: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccckkkkkkkkkk!

SUPs are great. Short learning curve--took me 6 months to figure out how to stand up and not eat the nose of my board prone surfing, took me my second time on a SUP to stand up and paddle with confidence. Plus, it keeps me sane in the Great Lakes area where rideable surf days are far and few between.
