the link didn't give sheik the oppurtunity to tech, a tech chance is shown by a green flash when you hit the ground. Since link grabbed sheik out of the air repeatedly instead of letting her touch the ground aside from the throw it's self, allowed no teching chance.

Hey Sliq, remember how if you press L you can't press it again to tech for 40 frames. He probably missed one tech and then paniced, trying to hit L on every possible tech and thus missing all of them because he was pressing L too much

Don't take it personally. It's just criticism. You might want to take a vcr with you to a tournament or a dv camera and record matches against other people.

Ask them to put their tags in when you play them. That way, you might pull off an OK combo, but people will see you pulled it off on someone good and it will be more impressive. Please reads are far more entertaining than punishing a missed tech.

I'm a bit confused on your boomerang off the edge comment though. If you watch the vid, He had already started his second jump when I started th rang. what could he have done to counter? If he saw it coming he could have used his shine but he got hit right after his second jump, he didn't have time to react since...well, how often does Link Jump off the edge to hit you with a point blank rang.

i know about lag. he may have mindgamed him into not countering the boomerang because he had previously done other things instead. maybe they expected him to doublejump backwards cause that's what he did in all the previous times. even pros use combos with bad DI and stuff in their combo vids, look at all the DBR vids for example, even the SS one. it's not so obvious that a boomerang's coming anyway. link has a lack of real combos, so he has to use ones that are when the opponent messes up.
