this is from their appearance together on NPr talking about the cave paintings in France and in context, it's so funny and because Werner is a huge Cormac fan and tries more than once to let Cormac know how incredible he is and he's so awkward as Herzog says these things. There really is no reason for him to read from ATPH at this point or at all during the entire discussion.
Herzog has such an amazing and hypnotic voice. He should do more audio books. Anyone who has seen the short film Plastic Bag who better than Herzog to portray the soul of a plastic bag. I wil never look at one the same way again.
At some point in the very near future, we can feed enough recordings of Werner's voice into a computer, and then we can all enjoy the entire book of "Blood Meridian" as read by Herzog.
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sage thicket. 'Vámonos, amigos,' he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintcraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.
They share themes in their work. It wouldn't be a mismatch seeing a film adaption of McCarthy by Herzog. But it does remain a dream of mine that it will happen.

You know, for some reason, I just find Herzog's voice kind of beautiful, with his light accent and almost musical cadence.

@hanshotfirst1138
I absolutely agree. I pray for the day we can realistically synthesize voices so that I can have Herzog reading my eulogy.

Herzog is brilliant. His new film 'Cave Of Forgotten Dreams' is remarkable!

I could listen to Herzog read the phone book... And he's reading Cormac McCarthy! Amazing.
