Saw him when i was like ten in Bragg Creek Alberta, got my CD signed by him. I was a total happy camper that night. Still trying to find piano scores of his music though
I had the opportunity to hear him in a local Jazz basement here in Saskatoon about 5-8 years ago. This song, and his habit of keeping time by stomping/swinging his left foot are two things I'll never forget about him. Wow, can he ever play.
I got to talk to him at a show where he was backing up Colin James. He ws just standing in teh lobby, nobody noticed him so I got to get my ticket signed and talk to him about the tour. Super nice guy!
A Youtube video?! Wonderful! My friends and I haev been recording for the past couple months, and one of them sent me the mp4 of this song and said "you were complaining about the othere pieces being to easy, learn this". I play the bass, by the way. I immediately fell in love with the song!
WAH! Yes! I just saw him with Colin James live at Massey Hall and at Hamilton Place...he is AMAZING for lack of a better description. Wonderful piano skills and a brilliant stage personality. hehe. Thank you SO much for posting! SO glad to see him here getting the attention he deserves. :)
The music by michael kaeshammer has not been published yet, i've been looking for it too, but thats what michael said in an interview

This guy is brilliant. I saw him with Harry Manx a while back. So entertaining. Very dry sense of humour. Completely enjoyed the show.
