this is the kind of bass playing that has been forgotten within the hard rock, pop and hardcore music communities. Its not that theres no place for it its that the amount of talented Bass players keeps decreasing with time, because when your bass players grow up playing nothing but palm muted G D C. your truly lucky if you find a bass player who knows his basic pentatonic scales these days.
