Feel like a flight ace is something you cant never give up at... I mean I had played this game over and over and the endding and everything on the game makes it epic. The SOLG was hard yes, but nothing stands on our way! WE ARE THE GHOSTS OF RAZGRIZ!

@LuisSera29 SOLG was unsatisfyingly easy. They had 4 planes, and I'm sure IRL it doesn't take that kind of payload just to take out 1 section of the core. Also, the range of a real Sidewinder (the standard missile in the game) goes into 2 kilometers or more, not 5000 feet. Even if the real world payload of a jet falls anywhere between a total of 4-12 guided armaments, that's more than enough for one, and with 4 jets? The only hard part about SOLG was fighting Grabacr and Ofnir on Ace mode notrly

@Dageki Not if all the fragments are over you... also either is easy when is something as fast as an F-22 or a MiG-31or when you just feel on the edge of your seat, or when a stupid Ofnir or Grabacr follows you, I allways keep one and they just suicide on the end

@GhostReconStrike SOLG fell to earth because it was programmed to crash into a specific target should it lose contact with the ground. The computer of SOLG is most likely what was guiding it, and yes the satellite would still crash without the computer, but not into a specific location like Oured. Let's just assume for the series' continuity that destroying the core caused the satellite to crash somewhere else. Like the ocean.

@GhostReconStrike In the meantime let's pray that if a real world military force constructs their own satellite superweapon and crashes it into earth, it's just as poorly designed, if not even more vulnerable that the SOLG so that it's not too difficult for us to stop it.

When i play any of the last missions on the ace combat games i feel like im actually in the game. I know its only a flight simulator but when im going up against an enemy such as ofnir or grabacr ( how ever its spelled) i can feel the blood pulsing through my veins. that really sounds nerdy....... but im not a nerd!

@jcdenton100 it doesnt sound nerdy, it sounds awesome because i feel the same way, the ace combat franchise have always been great at making players truly feel the combat, whether one would argue the game is unrealistic, arcadey, a flight sim. we can argue all day about what the game is or does but at the end we will all agree that it is indeed a great series.

The Aggressor Sq. was formed by a man named Ashley(I still don't get the name) and Ofnir was a pilot shot down in the Great War (AC0) and he joined the Aggressor Sq. for revenge. (I think, fell free to correct me if wrong)

You'll notice in the closing sequence that President Harling (who had been privy to all of the events depicted in AC5) decides to make public all of the classified events relating to the Razgriz. I think this happens in 2020, about 10 years after the close of the game. So, they do get credit where it's due...just much later. Harling seems to have pushed for it to be made public so people knew what had taken place on their behalf by a select few. He's just that cool of a guy. :)
