I try to enter the room that has the ax in it and some kind of enemy is in there that hurts you for just for entering the room. What did I forget to press?

You can also get the button for the serpent staff by jumping on top of the button and stabing down on it with the knife. You have to have lemeza stood in just the right place though.

You can dodge the boulder by grabbing onto the wall.

The second seal is by the waterfall in ground level (in the beta it used to be you had to defeat the water boss, so if the walkthough tells you that, its out of date).
