You have to unlock a power at the temple, the red one. Once you unlock it you have more grounds and able to use those red portals.

This game has three main flaws. One, the lack of enemies; Two, the lack of difficulty due to no penalty platforming and simple combat system; and Three, the bad voice acting and presentation of the storyline. Though Warrior Within and The Two Thrones weren't entirely realistic, they weren't completely fantastical. I'm fine with the celshaded look and everything, but I'd prefer if the animations/fight mechanics were more realistic. I mean the Sands of Time series showed feats almost possible.

also the warrior withins areas seemed to make more sense, with the banisters, supports, poles, all these broken pieces to swing or walk on, but in this? just so happened to have these poles upside down and all these hooks that are in some sort of random place? yeah, not a lot of level idea went into this one

I agree. The entire point of prince of persia, in my oppinion, was to be able to go places you shouldn't be able to go. One flaw that all the games have had though is that there were a couple areas where you have to wonder how the guards managed to get there. Additionally, I dislike how the game developers called it "an Open-World experience." I mean, how can you call it an open world when the 3 different routes you can take are completely obvious? And Elika should just be removed.

A game over screen does not make a game more difficult, it just breaks up the action. Every time u fall in the game, you have to start the whole plat-forming sequence over again, but without the annoying loading screen. So it works really well in a game like this. If your that much of a masochist u can run your head through a wall every time u fall (just kidding.)

Well in actuallity, it does. Because when you can easily fall off and die, there's a sense of urgency. More importantly, when you die you have to start farther back as opposed to respawning right where you were.

Yeah... when there's a huge gap, press A to jump.. then before you fall, press Y which then Elika helps you to the other side. Pretty cool.

Its basiclly a double jump like mahalo said you jump and if the screen turns white or you feel its too big of a ju,mp press y and elika will get you over now if you fall there will be a cutscene and you start from where you jumped
