How's the ride with those struts? I went with a solo spring seat as well, but got ten inch slammer shocks by 'Lick's' and the ride is very smooth.

Bitchin' bike! I'm really digging the chopped frame horns and shortened rear fender! I really like the scallops, great color choice! I seen your other vids and just wanted to say nice progression on it. I have a 2008 Nightster also and I'm planning out to do some trick mods to it in the near future, but I'm too busy riding it now! another quick question (I posted one on another one of your vids...) How did you expose the entire belt on the right side, sprocket and all? I know you can take the belt guard off pretty easy, but what about the other part? Does it just come off after a couple of bolts or is it a conversion kit of some sort? Thanks!

its no kit. i made the tank lift brackets out of the left over fender struts i chopped off my frame. i took off the sprocket cover cover. also i took off the cam cover and chopped off the excess with a grinder. bolt together customs are not custom!

cool man, I like the way you think. I didn't know if the sprocket cover had some sort of something that keeps it together, like when you take the derby cover off. I guess now that I think about it, I don't know what it would be holding on, ha! Oh, how tall did you make the tank lift bracket? I just need mine up high enough to get the wiring up underneath the tank, right now it's just zip tied on the side of the frame...thanx!

cool, thanks for the tips, I took your advice and made myself some tank lift brackets, ignition relocation brackets, and ignition coil brackets out of scrap metal I had lying around. I think it turned out great, I put a vid of it up of the finished product.

I don't find chromed out expensive bikes the best there is. There are fairly cheap ones i've seen on youtube which are absolutely stunning. It just angered me that goingsideways136 commented on another blokes bike as a crap bike when his isn't any better. You can give your kidney to him under your own liberty but i wouldn't waste it on someone like him.

hey dude bike looks great! just wondering a few things, whats that paint style called? and where in the heck did you find a black gas cap? also with that spring seat how well does it hide your ecm? and where did you find a spring seat like that ? and do you have a shift lite on that thing or do you just go without a speedo

the paint is called old school scallops and the gas cap is painted. i hid my ecm along side my battery i have no speedo or shift light. its a stripped down bobber
