  • WHERE IS THIS? omg! looks beautiful!

  • I tend to cry when I'm listening to this on my home cinema system.

    It's just so...beautiful... ~<3

You know, if Blizzard is bad at one thing, then it's DEFINITELY NOT the music of their games!

    PERIOD.

  • 1:14 Makes me think about Lord of The Rings

  • I think I just reached Nirvana.

  • Dwarven lore, free roaming horses, stone giants, friggin were wolves, forests and snow. I love the Grizzly Hills.

  • its fkn great music, but i'm really tired of hearing the second part. sorry =p

  • Really the Best Ever!

  • Sorry, but this doesn't sit well with me. I admit, i'd love to hear something like this while playing, but the song as a whole sounds pretty recycled...

  • People tend to hate on WoW but they forget how amazing Blizzard's production as a whole has always been. Beautiful piece. Can't get enough of it.

  • Its quite beautiful

  • I only briefly played a game trial of WoW so I never heard much of its music. Such serenity & so peaceful!

  • I have my hearthstone set to somewhere in here so whenever I need peace from all the chaos, i come here and just fly around, beautiful scenery for a game and an amazing piece of music to go with it.

  • The only wow music I really remember is the first time I heard the one in the MC ragnaros encountered ( skipped SFK on my first char :P )

  • Clearly I'm too busy collecting 12 Penguin Gizzards to appreciate this music.

  • I never thought Wow is so atmospheric. It's like the only game nowadays that actually gives a shit about good music and atmosphere instead of ONLY AND NOTHING BUT realism and graphics (I'm looking at you, Cod Mw2 faggots).

  • @OuidaHarrald651 omg, even advertising scam on youtube vids.. omg

  • That is such a peaceful music. I was almost feel sorry about furbolgs, when I killed them :D

  • anybody noticed the mountain in the background is not finished and you can see right through it. strange :-|

  • Lol, It's a tree. A fallen tree..

  • @Zephyx032 so that's what those stupid things are lol XD

  • @TheRacedriver92 Hahahah, that's freaking Nordrassil - The fallen worldtree :P

  • The start of it sounds like a track you'd find in Zelda, its a pitty you rarely hear masterpieces like this in WoW zones.

  • Blizzard should make an album of the wow music, because some of it is just so....beautiful

  • @littledude4eva

They have, but you would need to get the collectors edition of the specific expansion pack, in this case Wrath of the Lich King

  • @JacobHobbins Ahh really?, is there any chance i can just buy the CD on its own?

  • @littledude4eva You can buy the soundtrack on itunes for 10-12 dollars.

  • @littledude4eva They do. It comes with the purchase of the Special Edition of World of Warcraft. :)

  • the beginning sounds like the winds of poseidon

  • don't say such scary things

  • Only time i would ever turn of the music(well just really lower it and turn of other sounds) is when i need to hear some really aggresive music to get pumped up during tanking or when i need to talk to other people over vent...

  • *twitch*

  • This song is best heard when inside Nordrassil where the Grizzlemaw used cohabitat, especially sitting on the edge right beside the honeycomb lanterns.

  • it make me cry :') lol

  • Grizzly Hills best zone for two reasons!

    1) Sheer beauty of the zone

    2) This music is so peacfull it puts me to sleep even when im not tired

Thank you Blizzard for such beauty, also Russel Brower, you are a Legend!!

  • 1:25 - cry... :'(

  • Man, can't belive that tons of people play trough this game with music turned off, the music in Howling fjord is also amazing.

  • Indeed, I know all too many people that never would be caught alive listening to WoW OST, tis' sad :(

  • I've long since quit playing the increasingly boring WoW, but I have to admit that the soundtrack is, in most cases, excellent.

This track is proof of that. By far my favorite in the game. Truly a masterpiece that really gives off that wilderness vibe. And Grizzly Hills was my favorite zone anyway.

  • co za debil dal taki filmik

  • Myślę że Twój stary :/

I hate when people comment in their languages so noone can understand them. Especially idiots from Poland (yes, yes i live there) who write insults just because it's fun and they can feel great. Damned morons.

  • Even though i've heard this song numerous times, still a little tear manages to break out of the prison that is my eyes. I salute you Blizzard for making such a fine soundtrack.

  • jesus christ, so poetic

  • Incredible song!

It captures the beauty and nature of the area, just amazing.

  • That mountain looks epic, good job Blizzard, good fucking job.

  • You mean that fallen giant world-tree that failed to grow? ;>

  • Uhm, yes.

  • i love this song, makes me feel like im out in the middle of the forrest living in a log cabbin, peacefully, away from civilization. sitting in my big comfy rocking chair in front of the fire relaxing.... /sigh....

  • i like it because it realy sounds like an traditional piece ^^

  • i like it.

  • I HATE BARRENS SONG!

  • Where is Mankriks's wife?

  • If you want WMG to resign their contract with youtube,

If you want to be able to make videos without them getting deleted,

If you want to be able to listen to music on youtube again,

If you want to fix youtube and make it the way it used to be,

    COPY AND PASTE THIS

  • how about we dont and say we did?

    eh mr spammer?

  • This song... I can just relax to, and let my troubles just melt away

  • lol for me my troubles fade away

  • thats strange i am reading this exactly at 12:28 midnight and nothing happen

  • This is a song that I would sleep in

  • one of the most beautiful themes i ever heard. first i thought that wow didn't have this good music i just listened to zelda, final fantasy etc. but this theme is great!!

reminds me a lot of classic music and orchestral music too.

  • WHAT ABOUT BARRENS MUSIC XD?!

  • I love this song. Probably one of my favorites from the game's soundtrack. This just has a very woody, natural and overall beautiful feel to it. I can see trees and a forest living and growing once I hear this. Its serene. A brief bit of peace in a continent literally covered in Death. I love that the song becomes a different piece at about the 1:58 mark. I just wish I could have stayed in the zone longer. Thanks for posting this and other great music.

  • best wow songn of all ages !

  • Lmao, wow... 8 negatives for commenting that diablo music was better... Its an opinion its not like im shouting abuse :)

  • very nice, lt´s fel my heart of happines :)

  • In my opinion are the WoW soundtracks highly overrated but this track (or these tracks) are really good and I enjoy the second part much.

  • such a nice nyckelharpa in there!

  • The correct english name of the instrument would be Keyed Fiddle, i believe. Though you are right. Nyckelharpa it is :D

  • Wow, this is a great song. I've never really advocated World of Warcraft, but this is fantastic.

  • Indeed! Very peaceful. Definitely a big favorite of mine.

  • @SupraDarky Always look at Blizzard's games for fantastic music. I may not like every game they made, but the music... amazing.

  • Don't Diss it until you've given it a chance. It's really not as bad as everyone else claims it to be. :)

  • grizzly hills is nice, but the by far most epic area is further north.. when powerleveveling me and my friend were completely alone in storm peaks, and it was so amazing... vast.. empty.. frozen.. just the most epic scenery in the game so far.

  • This is BY FAR my favorite zone ingame. The atmosphere is just grand, especially with this awesome track in the background.

  • yeah, Northrend was a reason to turn on the ingame music on...

  • i have had my sound settings turned off on wow for to long. i had no idea what i was missing

  • It reminds me of home.....great west side mountains, fresh air, and sweet birds singing.

  • Grizzly Hills indeed got some really sweet musictracks which fit with the zone and also the transition from hilly green grass fields to cold snow

  • Makes me want to go buy WOTLK and start playing WoW again :)

  • Hey, can anyone do me a huge favor? =D

What's the name of the song that starts at 1:58? Is there any way I can download it? obviously this guy did in order to put it on his video, I just need to know where to go.

    Thanks. great song!

  • lol.... Disregard my question on the name of the song... helps to read title and description.....

But I'd still like to know where I can download it. thanks =]

  • I think iTunes has it

  • You can rip the music files from the game folders as well with an extractor, if you have the game.

  • Vordrassils Limb i think

  • Your mastery of the English language is impressive.

  • this made me cry lol

  • This song always makes me think of LOTR .. dunno why .. but its so peacefull i love it, specially at 2:45 around there

  • Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised a WoW track made the list! :) Grizzly Hills is one of my favorite zones in WotLK.

  • I've played WoW for a few minutes at a friend's once, and it was alright. I don't to get myself hooked, since I prefer trying out many different console games instead.

My comp wouldn't be able to handle WoW anyways, and I can't afford a new one.

  • A lot of this music is more emotional than previous WoW soundtracks. There are some decent ones in WoW classic and Burning Crusade, IMO. Blizz definetly put more effort into WOTLK's music, as well as storytelling. Suppose I'm a bit of a fanboy though, playing since about the time of the AQ war.

  • Amen to that brother, I love the amount of effort Blizz finally put into their music specifically WOTLK, some of these tracks make me shed a tear at times.

The storytelling is just as great too, some of them being really emerse, I just love it!

  • Thanks for this. I really, really, mean it. After a day where I had to wake up early compared to the last 5 days, had no money to get lunch, count other's people money, in addition to the rest of my normal school work, and then come home to have to clean up after dogs because everyone else in my family is to lazy/stubborn/prideful, this makes my day so much better. Thank you so much, Supradarky.

  • Well I'm very glad to hear(read) that this had such an effect on you! Good and peaceful music can definitely help when you're having a difficult day.

  • Beautiful music can make people cry

    leave youtube Mr. Flamer

  • Oh i get it, you made a homosexual joke.. nice job.

in other news, from what i've gathered you're some 13 year old prick who roams youtube for things he can easily make fun of, without any understanding of it.

  • im gonna have to side with brenoink..... he has a point.

  • Im speaking about music in general.. not just world of warcraft.

never once did i say specifically world of warcraft, and besides im defending someone else not myself..lol

  • WOTLK is the first time in WoW's history where the music didn't blow ass. Now it's alright.

  • Hellfire Peninsula, prove me wrong

  • I like WoW's music, but I can't stand the game, lol. There really wasn't ANY point to the hundreds of hours I invested in it...

  • I play it casually and enjoy it. :)

  • Doesn't the casual Wow player spend like 10 hrs a day?

  • im a casual WoW player, I spend like 1-2 hours tops, I've been playing for 1 month tops and im lvl 50, so I dont think you have to be hardcore to be good in WoW

  • No. That would be the slightly obsessed player. Or the player with nothing to do.

  • Wow you bought the collectors edition?

Anyway, it's a surprise that YOU play WoW

  • wow man, didn't know you played WoW!

  • This makes mew want to sit on the grand banks of Newfoundland and watch the tides roll in and out.

  • me not mew, it's a typo.

  • This music really makes me want to kill some monsters!!!

    NO WAI, just kidding!

It makes me want to fall asleep under a tree branch on a sunny day with my trusty dog next to me and a butterfly on my nose, and a gentle breeze tenderly caressing my face.

  • Feels like it comes from a big name movie. Kind of like the part where they discover magic deep within the Earth's core, or when they find a lost civilization, fairies fluttering about.

  • Wow, actually made it here :-D

    Five stars! :-)

  • its great :)

  • Really nice ambient, great for background music.
