Need for speed was NEVER ABOUT STREET RACING. Need for speed 1, need for speed 2, need for speed 3, nfs high stakes, need for speed porsche unleashed and need for speed hot pursuit 2 were all TRACK RACING GAMES in the starting which were all awesome games until Nfs underground came out and FUCKED UP the series. Nfs shift bought back the cockpit view from the old nfs games and TRACK RACING which is the reason i bought the game. Nfs most wanted was the ONLY GOOD STREET RACING GAME THAT EA CREATED.

if the game is played with external car cam.. the game is terrrrible....

No, this game has realistic physics, its made by company that done Race 07. So you need racing wheel to play it otherwise its hard and feels shit. It has nice graphics but it was desined to play from inside playing from this POV is waste of time.

Thanks for posting this game play. As the website just has FMV's which is cool but pointless if you want to see what actual game looks like. Pro Street was a quite good game, except for the DRAG glitch. Then NFS Undercover, offline was superb but online was so shit, because absolutely no one played the game on normal cars except the top ones from each class e.g. Lambo Gallardo or Bugatti.

And now this... hmmm, i don't know, what's with that stupid little drift after every corner? Not so much realistic is it. Pffffff... i think GRID would have beaten this game. NFS needs to fix up 4 real.

I agree, Nfs Pro street was Okay, but it had no storyline which sucked, then NFS Undercover (Which I currently own on 360) Is amazing offline, but online it s so annoying because everyone drives in super fast cars, the magic of precision racing is gone in online Undercover, but SHIFT looks friggin amazing, I gtta wait till 2morro 2 get it, but I still cant wait =D

A nice test is to take a relatively standard (one of the slowest ones) car in any racing game and do a brake test. You can find a video on YouTube or whatever of how long it takes for a car to brake from, say 80 km/t to standstill, and try the same in the game. Maybe subtract a little time if you have race tires. This should give you an indicator of how realistic the tire mechanics is.
