As far as stats go Kobe is just a little behind Jordan, and LeBron is very close to Jordan. Magic is interesting because he averaged over 11 assists and 7 boards a game. If you count an assist as valuable as 2 points then you'll see that Magic was responsible for as many points a game as LeBron. Obviously not all assists are made equal. Sometimes it is the passer who is responsible for the extremely easy bucket, and sometimes it is the shooter who knocks down a 3 or makes a tough shot. Depends.

It's acually is close. In a sense of stats and impact on the game of basketball as a sport it's not close and will never be.....but in a sense of talent and skills on the court, there games are parallel just in different ways. Both are great scorers, great defenders(Jordan on ball in on the perimeter/off ball, Kobe on/off ball in the half court), average rebounders, tremendous passers and excellent shot blockers(Kobe face up, Jordan from behind) stop reading stats and read the game........

Lebron might have choked last year but he's had some great playoff games and series. Just look at some of the Pistons, Bulls, Magic and Celtics series.
