    Im halv Thai/Esaan and halv danish, and my grandmom is comming from Thailand this summer, and she used to make a sweet rice with bannanas and wrapped in some kind of green thing, i think its banana leaves or something, could you make a video of how i make that? If you know what i am talking about :-D I really wanna make this dish for her..

  • @timothyngim Isaan, esan, or esarn different ways of spelling it, are Laotian ethnics that live in the North Eastern part of Thailand. The people of this region are culturally closer to people of Laos, food,language, customs ect...

  • Hi Kai! Is the vinegar ---- rice wine vinegar or vinegar (white or apple)?

  • @TheRoyal200 Normally in Thai (or Thai-Laos) cooking, we use vinegar that made of alcohol and sugar, but you can also use rice vinegar instead because the apple cider or cooking wine vinegar taste a bit too fruity (in my opinion) :-)

  • That sounds like what hmong ppl would call it. Fish Sauce = Na pa , Sugar = na ta , and eggs = kai / kay ... COOOL :)

  • Just FYI you should use plastic or wood utensils on non-stick pans because if you use metal you will over time scrape off the non-stick coating and the Teflon contained inside that coating can be carcinogenic(cancer causing). I don't want you to get cancer Kai!!!!
