  • i fell in love with this song the 1st time i heard it!!!!! i don't know if anyone knows this but, luther vandross wroth this song.

  • First heard this back in 1978, and still can't hear it without crying. Truly beautiful and melancholy, and only learned that Will Lee was the vocalist about three years ago. Still can't wrap my brain around that one. (Well done Will!!). Many thanks for uploading.

  • R.I.P. Michael Brecker (1949-2007), Luther Vandross (1951-2005), and Don Grolnick (1948-1996). In addition to being a great song, this was the first tune I ever heard that Luther Vandross penned.

  • How beautiful ... first time hearing this, too.

  • Bellamente hacer... Gracias.

  • DamnSweet.

  • God bless Will Lee. He sings this so sweetly and the Breckers and other musicians play beautifully. Really nice video. Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU.

  • i do like to live in my memories. Because time will take you away. Beautiful lyrics, arrangement. Nice Trumpet solo too! Miss those days of my youth. Brecker Brothers will always be my brothers

  • @manwiles The trumpet solo is what I remember most about this song. Even when I heard Donne Warrick sing it. I would do the horn solo vocally. Now I don't have to. This song has a serene sound and feel to it. Very enjoyable and pleasant. The video fits as well.

  • Love this song

  • One of my favorite old... make it classical songs in the 70's... Nice video, too. Thanks for making this video. Can i share it with my friends in FB?

  • @crossover113 ,YES please do share..and you are so welcome =))

  • @sylvette323b Sly Vette, thank you for posting this song. I've been looking for it for so long. I remeber when it first hit the air in 76. I would hear it but could never get the name of the artists or group. Then Dionne Warrick recorded it. I like her version of it. But this is the one that I love. It akes me all the way back to my last days in the eighth grade. Just like those last days, this song will always be treasured in my heart. Thank you again for the refreshed memories.

  • @IRONMANHONDO87 , I know what you mean...MUSIC is our very own "Time machine"! ♪ ♪

  • @sylvette323b It's all I can do to keep from tearing up when I hear this song. The words say it all for me. So many good memories. Once again, THANK YOU!!
