Thanks for the video, it was very touching. I also thought that Cosmos lQQked male. Either way, it's hard to lose a beloved spider and those of us in the hobby totally understand. Keep your chin up.
SpiderScience. It appears to me that cosmos wasnt a female. Looks like a male 2 me. He mostlikly was mature and wouldn't have lived very long. The brown color's that this cobalt (h.Lividum) you have in your video are a sure sign of a male. The female is more gray/black and blue.. Just something to think about. RIP MR. Cosmos
Yeah, I got fucked by that pet store, I can see it now, I only would have found out at the first molt, I don't count on appearance but sexual organs, And I am new to Haplopelma species and some other old worlds, So I really appreciate the advice.
That sucks man. Sorry. Not a lot of people understand that even with animals like tarantulas, you can get atttached enough to feel grief when they pass.
im so happy too see how seriously your taking this death, most people would be just like oh owell its only a spider but no its not just a spider he was and still is a great friend . R.I.P Cosmos

Hey man, sorry about that lost.
My culry hair died a few weeks ago. So I know how you feel.
That H. lividum was male indeed. They sold it as a female spider?

Cosmo was only 3.5 inches and males live longer than 3 months, and I had thought maybe because it was close to molting..
