Fission type nuclear reactors are safe and use such a small amount of low grade atomic material. These are being manufactured as small capsules and are in use now. This type of reactor can use the nuclear waste from the other plants.

Nuclear energy is a good source of energy and that Obama was right that there is no "silver bullet" as of now. Although nuclear may be the silver bullet once we can acomplish fusion power :)

I think that this is a question that really needs to be addressed. It goes along with looking for alternative energy and is an option that I dont think most people were aware of. I know I wasn't before I saw this video.

If it's a more economical choice to recycle the nuclear waste then I would do it. Even though there is a possibility of terrorist stealing it, keeping reprocessed uranium under tight sercurity could minimize possible theft.
