Awesome video.... the thing on the side is called a kinsington lock. You can buy a cable with a lock on the end to insert into that hole to prevent anyone taking it.

I've got the unibody Macbook. Vista runs fine on 2Gb - I decided to upgrade my Mac to 4Gb and now it runs quicker than my 8Gb 2.5Ghz PC. So yeah you should be fine.

yeah same, because it would cost a lot to repair it, anywhere. and the firewire is the last one so thats another plus, and 5 hour battery, that can be removed.

same macbook as you, and its the best, because it has a removable battery/ram and a firefox usb which is sick.

The other one kinda suck because if the battery breaks 1000 dollars just to take the back of it out and replace the battery.

I also got mine for 800$ because it was the last one and the model one. soo :P

I really do suggest that you take out your battery when your only using our Macbook at home. This will not decrease the battery life. Just simply plug in your power cord and take out your battery, don't worry about the lead falling out, it wont because its on a magnet sot its hard to get out.

YES!!! i dropped mine off my bed and it scratched against the wall. it knocked my disk-drive out of place, and it put enormous blue scratches on the front of my computer.

The MacBooks are likely to get a big update soon, the MacBook Pro was updated earlier this year in June. So just wait for the new MacBook.

it depends what you want to use it for, the macbook pro is obviously better, and faster, but a lot more money. If you need a computer for editing videos or running a lot of programs then get a macbook pro. If you just want a macbook for a personal computer that you'll use for surfing the web and occasionally running a program or two, get a macbook.

Nice review. Do you know if there is a scroll volume wheel on the Macs? Like instead of having to use those keys to change the volume, just turning the wheel on the side of the computer? My PC laptop has one and it's really handy. Great review!
