dvi is digital... vga is analog.. when using dvi, the text on you display are sharp and clear.. when using vga sometimes the edges are blurry and stuff... hard to explain but best way to see the difference is to actually try both out..
Too bad for the guys at Arkview. They're really going to miss that 1% of the market share they could be tapping into. :P
Anyway, I think it does support Linux, he just forgot to mention it. At least I think it does. The other one that was pretty much the exact same thing from the same company that he reviewed yesterday could do Linux.

With DVI there is no conversion from analog video so the signal is digital and there is no loss of quality.
