i thought that this is already the 3rd john butler trio? at least i remember reading somewhere that he likes to switch band members to keep things fresh. just look at older bands like u2 etc. in the beginning the songs where more awesome in my opinion the new stuff is more of a normal song but it hasn't got a vibe.. with the butler trio i haven't found one song i didn't like every song has a different vibe.

It is interesting though, the fact that john butler's songs have changed in accordance with the new guys continuing the existence of jbt, his songs have gone away from the blues and roots which he started with into a more rockier sound which is great, but i just hope that he doesnt go away from the thing that made him successful completely. Because Zebra which is one his earliest hits should go down as having one of the greatest riffs of all time and it would be a shame for him to away from that
