Loved the poem..it shows that our problems began in our childhood...In your poem I heard the child in you crying our to the mother to fix the sounds in your stomach...but what I heard underneath is a child crying for a mothers/parents attention and nurturing....food gets mixed into these emotions...food=nurturing when it should be mother/father=nurturing...

Oh my gosh Johnny,this mad me cry so hard!!! I love it.I dont know what you ment for peolpe to hear in this but what I herd was the truth!!The wanting to be a kid,the hating anna the loveing anna.the wanting to get better, the fear of getting better.the love hate relationship.Every thought i have had you binded to your poem.Thank you for speeking my iner mind I have never spoke out of fear.I just wanted to tell you how much this poem relly ment to me!!!

@Energyfree- What do you mean by that? We're the same as children- but children just haven't been *tainted by fear* yet? Because I think that in this poem, it sounds like a very frightened, scared child is being portrayed. So that little nugget of wisdom might work on another channel you troll, but not on this one. Not on the site of this beautiful, blossoming, recovering "brother" of mine. Look at zir latest blogs :)

Something to help in thinking about wanting to be a little kid/afraid of being an adult that people often forget:

Little kids have very few choices. Little kids can't pick their own clothes, cant't pick their own food, can't pick their own toys, what they do and when they do it, somebody is always in charge of a little kid and has the final say over them.

Being a grownup means *having* those very *choices* (something important that you also talk about) that little kids don't --

Remember this.

Thank you, some of the volunteer work I've done has been with kids. They always react so differently to me because of my radical gender and my body modifications : ) I am still very young inside so I connect well with kids!
