i hope u know how fucking dangerous that is. I got mine done professionally. U have main veins and blood vessels running all thru ur cheeks, u have muscle, and salivery glands, if u hit a salivary gland u culd end up with bells palsy thats just plain stupid
yes but u also have them in your cheeks too. I once had a salivary gland infection. All my cheeks went puffy, the doctor even said that theres salivary glands all in ur cheeks.
@missyswife ... I know this is two years old but your salivary glands are no where near that part of your cheek. they are toward your lower jaw and further back toward your ears. Im not trying to step on your toes Im just saying that this is actually a lot safer than most people make it out to be,

I tried scapelling my ear to get a larger gauge, but hurt and too much blood so gettign it professionally :] Thats pretty dangerous doing ur own cheek as there are saliva glands, facial nerves and thick muscle... Hope its healed allright tho. I got mine a week ago and they r swollen and bruised :S
Im sorry but that was plain stupid. You didnt use gloves, didnt look like you used the correct needle, and i highly doubt that the needle was sterilized.
Hope you have fun with you'r infection. And if you didnt get one, then you are highly lucky.

Doing it for "shit n giggles" doesn't magically make it sanitary, and not leaving it there doesn't mean there aren't any risk of infections.
