the stock cats are on it , it has an X pipe after the cats and splits off from there

I hope you left the cats on? Even though it sounds lame to have the cats on it, it will definitely help that 5.3 out some. Gotta nice sound to it. I straight piped my 07 and all I did was put high flow cats on it and it even made it louder.
