  • Gotta ask what do you guys think of Brooklyn Beer cause man to me its odd tasting somehow cant describe...

  • It feels like your talking right to me. I love your presentation

  • I love love love moose drool, new castle, and rogue hazelnut brown ale. Such good beers.

  • damnit you were right, i bought a six pack because of your review and wasn't really feelin it. But gave it anotherr shot today and wow, this is a good beer, i bow to your palette. Thanks for the review bro, keep giving us new beer to enjoy.

  • If i can't decide what to get, i get moose drool. Just how it works.

  • my palate isnt ready for this yet. the taste is too strong, but the more beer i drink, the better stronger ones taste

  • Nice man I having one right now:)

  • saw this review and immediately bought Moose Drool. It is really a great beer. Brown Ale is a really great flavored beer. thanks for the review dude

  • hey man would love to have a beer with u im in abq to hit me up

  • My roomate is from Montana and he has nothing but good things to say about Moose Drool.

  • This made me soooo thirsty.

This will be the next beer i try. I have seen it around so, that's good. :)

    Can't wait.

  • you should do a wood chuck review

  • Big Sky IPA is also really good

  • You can get fog from warm beer as well as cold. The pressure inside the bottle is released quickly as the bottle is opened. This sudden release of pressure cools the co2 in the bottle so quickly that water vapor condenses out as a fog. Could have been very dry in your room at the time.

  • You seem like the nicest guy ever. You would be great to enjoy a beer with. You have great reviews. Keep em coming.

  • next time you try abeer from Big Sky, look under the cap, they print some pretty funny things on them. yet another great review

  • Just tried this beer last week for the first time. Huge fan! I'm a big fan of New Castle and looks like Montana is givin belgium a run for their money haha

  • What exactly is lacing and the head?..but a bout moose drool..

Great beer. Tried it last night.. I too bought a six pack lol. Reminded me a little of fat tore with a different kind of bite at the end.

Moose drool is definitely top 3 in my book right now

  • Love the beer, love the review. You're a riot JD!

  • maybe you can review Blue Moon. want to know your view on this beer. its currently my favorite.

    -peace

  • @YoseMiteEmery I could tell you right now. Blue moon is very average. It's a top pick at 711, but other than that it is not a "go to" brew. Blue moon is one of the only beers I's suggest with a orange slice.

  • i picked this up while driving through Montana on my roadtrip! After visiting you, of course!!

  • Haha, you're funny, man. Great review! Btw can you do a review of a finnish beer?

  • haha legend. you sure love your beer!

  • Bro it probably didn't pass the smoke test cuz it wasn't cold. Gotta keep em cold. No disrespect. I loved the review brotha. Keep up the good work

  • it's so awesome to see how much you can enjoy a beer dude :)

    you're 1 happy nigga man , damn ! :D

  • Drinking my first as I type. I agree, it's a very good beer. BTW, I bought a six pack.

  • A request for a review, don't know if you can buy it in the states.

Grolsch. Its a dutch beer, just like budweiser, but more bitter

  • i tried this beer thanks to this review.. and omg it was so worth it,,, very good beer

  • My favorite beer of all time

  • I'm currently drinking a moose drool brew. Great Flavor, Great beer, Great State. I love montana and MOOSE DROOL is putting it on the map for brews

  • It's a damn fine beer.

  • @WrecklessEating Great review you posted very entertaining!!

  • @jjdaven Thanks. We subbed ya. Really enjoy what you are doing here.

  • MOOSE DROOL!!!!

  • @XPOutdoors Thanks for watching.

  • here is their site if you wanna check it out dublindrpepper . com

  • @super0pimp Thank you

  • haha I drink alot of Dr. Pepper as well man haha Great reviews btw!

  • @rmweav11 Thanks for watching.

  • Have you ever had a Dublin Dr Pepper? It's the original recipe from the original plant in Dublin they still make it with real sugar.

  • @super0pimp Another reason for me to go to Ireland, thank you.

  • @jjdaven Dublin TX not Ireland! I actually live 10 miles from Dublin so you are in luck. I will have to send you a 6 pack. The original is in 8 oz glass bottles. Email me your addy.

  • @super0pimp Oh haha my bad. Thank you for the offer. My mailing address is on my main youtube page.

  • @jjdaven lmao No C.O.D.'s please! Please tell me someone didn't COD u something.

  • I got a six pack in montana yesterday. THis beer is so good!!!

  • @back2thefutre Thanks for watching.

  • Full Sail is in Hood River OR, not Washington. I was just there for a tour. If you're in the area check them out. Great brewery!!!

  • @aztodd74 Thanks for watching.

  • Way to go with your great channel. I just made a "bud" beer if you wanna take a look as well.

  • @MrDaveJ420 Thanks for watching.

  • I live in Missoula and Moose Drool is alright but the fact the state of Montana has become synonymous with Moose Drool is a bit annoying. There are better beers in the state.

  • @spewintothis Oh thats a bummer. Let me know what are some better ones so I can keep my eye open for them. But I like Moose Drool a lot.

  • best beer from montana

  • @WickedZomb It is a really good beer I am a big fan of it.

  • Bitch Creek is an actual creek near Jackson Hole...There's a very famous trout fly named after that creek.

  • @mresourcegroup Great info Brother thanks.

  • hey bro , pls try Redhorse , its a beer from Philippines..

  • @rodniejay Haven't seen that beer in my area.

  • Hey man ive been seein a beer called "bitch creek" around and i wanted to see what you thought of it before i went out and tried it. The silly name made me think of it haha

  • @logo2logo1 I haven't seen that beer. But I will keep my eyes peeled for it.

  • I found this beer in AK just this past year. I tried it because of the name and loved it for its contents. Best brewed beer in the States, hands down. If you can't find it in your local store, you can order it online from distributors. Big Sky Brewing has sites that will ship it on their website. So i've been told that i'm "crazy" for ordering my beer from across the country since they don't have this east coast. I prefer the term "dedicated" haha Awesome review man, keep it up!

  • @DrewJennings86 Thank you Bro that is some good info. And it is always good to hear from a "dedicated" beer guy, haha.

  • "Montana's in the house! Hey!" Haha cheers man! Thanks for reviewing a beer from the Big Sky Country!

  • @Bourne2bwild1989 It was my pleasure. They make some really good beers.

  • I'd be more than happy to purchase this beer if only I could find it!

  • Bummer cuz it's really good.

  • I just bought a six pack today and I'll tell you what, this beer went down real smooth for me, Agreed this is a great beer Thanks for the review!

  • Your welcome it is nice to hear back from people that have tried the various reviews that I have posted. Thanks for watching.

  • Joe:

A spot on review!!! This is my favorite beer of all time, so I really had a good time watching your review and your reaction to a beer with "a gross name, and great taste!".

  • I love it when brewers come up with interesting labels and names for their beers. And when they are good that is just a topper. Thanks for watching.

  • Great review man! This stuff is brewed in my town, Missoula, love this beer, definetly my favorite brown ale if not my favorite beer ever. You should try the other Big Sky brews or anything from Beyern Brewing or Kettle House Brewing both out of Missoula, they each make some pretty good beers. Cold Smoke by Kettle House is amazing, might be a little hard to find out of Montana though. Anyway, keep the reviews coming, I just became a fan!

  • Thank you so much for watching. I am going to look for those other beers but I am not sure I can find them.

  • U said the lacing is not too bad, is that typically a bad thing if the bubbles stick to the glass??

  • Well the left over head sticking to the sides of the glass called lacing can be a great indicator of freshness of hop and the beer.

  • Damn, it was between moose drool and leinenkugel's creamy dark to try tonight and picked creamy dark. Not impressed with it at all. Wish I would of picked up a 6 pack of moose drool. Great review man.

  • Haha, we all have been there deciding what beer will might be good for the moment. But there is only one way to actually find out and that's to buy it and try it. Thank you for watching and for letting me know about your decision.

  • Unfortunately, they don't sell that brew in the state of NC. I value your opinion on beers. Some times I am even drinking the same beer your reviewing to compare your opinion verses mine. When you state a beer is good, I listen.

    Keep on rating those brews..."SWEET"

  • Now that is a dedicated viewer. Thank you!!

  • was you tipsy while drinking this?? by the way i dig the song.

  • Ha-ha, I might have been you never know.

  • hi jjdaven I love your information because Iam in a proces where I want to try different flavors, but it surprises me a lot the way you drink beers in 3 drinks I mean WTF is amazing. I take about 10 min to finish a beer or maybe more, just a little advice try to taste it more you know feel the flavor in you mouth feel the body just like a wine.

excelent videos man greetings from mexico

oohh try one of the best beers in mexico negra modelo and bohemia.

  • Thank you for stopping by and watching my video's. I have had those beers and they are good. I like the Bohemia better.

  • If you chill the beer loads, like 2-4.C

Then you usually get smoke, because of the vapor chill.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • Better than Newcastle

  • I really love it too. Thanks for watching.

  • Newcastle is overrated...

  • moose drool is bangin. classic. 5 star beer

  • It is a great beer. Something about the water up there.

  • Awesome review. I enjoyed it. I really want to try it. Thanks Joe D!!

  • Thank you very much my friend.

  • I really like Browns but I gotta say I'm liking this beer less and less the more I get through this 6 pack. What I notice a lot is the taste and aroma of something metallic. From what I've read it's from the type of hops but I really don't like that aspect. Also tastes a little sour to me.

  • Well thanks for letting me know your thoughts on this beer.

  • I'll have to give this another shot soon. I think my glass was soapy or something when I drank out of it. I'm pretty sure that's what the metallic taste was.

  • hey man. i live in portland oregon. ive drank this beer and i have to say, its one of my favorites. ive tried some other more high end beers too but that one stands out with a couple others for sure. definately 5 star beer. go out and get some. for those under 21 people, have your brother, sister, mom or dad buy it :D

  • This is a really good beer I have it regularly. Thanks for watching.

  • newcastle brown is my favourite brown ale have you ever tried it.

  • I sure have tried it. Make sure to checkout my review of it.

  • I also like Moose Drool. Had my first one in Tucson. My first choice is always American Craft Beer on draft. The only craft beer I did not like was a Double IPA that I drank last week in San Antonio. I am searching for a recipe so I can try it as a homebrew.

  • Well you might know this already, but some breweries will sell you the exact kit to make that beer. That's what is great about these smaller craft breweries. Enjoy your beer and thanks for watching.

  • Hey Joe D...I just had this beer tonight after seeing your review. I've been reluctant in trying American craft beers until now. Wow...Moose Drool is delicious. It reminded me a bit like Newcastle but I think Moose Drool has a bit more bite and flavor. Thanks bro. Your reviews are on target.

  • This is a great beer and I still drink them from time to time. And now they can their beer as well so when you go camping or hunting you can take some great craft beer with you. Thank you for watching.

  • Another good beer from Montana is "Cold Smoke" put out by Kettle House Brewing Company...6.5 abv. A local ice cream joint called the "Big Dipper" even put it into an ice cream. concentrated form of the unfermented "wort".

  • I don't think I have ever seen Kettle House Brewing. But that ice cream sounds interesting. Thanks for waching.

  • Who is your "beer guy?"

  • Ha-ha, that is just something I say. My "beer guy" is the guy that works at the liquor store I get most of my beer from.

  • Where do u get your Beer fRom?

  • Just a local liquor store.

  • damn.. it looks very tasty.. damn... wanna try out some of your beers... in germany.. especially we in bavaria.. got great beers but i want to try one of yours one time...

  • I drank many beers when I was in Nuremberg. Had a great time there in the Army. Thank you for watching my videos and tell a friend.

  • I drank that in WI, when me and my gospelchoir went on a twoweektour in parts of MN and WI.

After the consert we went to a bar next to the hotel. Got a HUGE mug, almost a pitcher (spelling?). I drink like you, don´t zip, I like to sink a beer quickly, then have a sequel in peace, then I can take it a little easy. If it´s early in the evening I can have a third one.

It´s kind of short. The taste disapers quickly. But still, it rocks.

Pitty though that we don´t get it here in Sweden.

  • Well I am glad that you at least got to try it once and I am very glad you liked it. Thank you so much for the comment and tell a friend.

  • flavour is everything lacing is nothing if it tastes crap

  • Well said Sloter.

  • i love how this guy gulps it down, beer isn't made to sip, if you want to sip drink some damn wine..

  • Haha driking beer is a lot of fun for me I really enjoy it.

  • try a snakeriver lager if you can find it

  • It don't really sound familar but I will look. Thanks for watching.

  • Wow i finally got to try it in the parking lot of a phish concert. All i can say is that it is one of my favorites already. I also got to try trout slayer which is from the same brewery. Its very good and i highly recommend it for a review!!

  • I am so glad you liked this beer. This is one of the beers I buy regularly. Thanks for letting me know what you thought of it. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • If i may, I do suggest you Try Some of the beer from Crow Peak Brewery in spearfish South Dakota! All of there beers are GREAT, and i think if you call there and Ask Jeff if he could send you some brew he will hook you up with a Growler full of Great brew from the Black Hills of South Dakota!!! I prefer the Pile O' Dirt from Crow Peak Brewery Personaly.

    Great review by the way!

  • Wow that sounds like a good brewery. But I have never heard of them. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • excellent beer , suprised you didnt comment on the sweetness of the drool. if you like moose drool also check out Laughing Budha Brewerys "pandan brown ale"

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • hiiii!! - haha- love the beer reviews, keep it up! i did try this when i was still new to beer but it was at room temperature so it didnt leave a great impression lol but id love to try it again soon

  • Do you know if it is avaible in Canada?

  • Not sure but since it is so close to Canada I don't see why it wouldn't be up there.

  • cool review. DO you drink Dr. pepper and coke?

  • I like both actually. I like them just as much.

  • no beck's review?

  • No not yet.

  • Whats up JoeD? Man, thanks for the review bro. I went out and grabbed me a 6'er of this...took it home and got it even colder...and MAN....this is a good beer bro. I was pretty impressed. Good color...went down easy...had a little snap on the back end...but it wasn't over bearing. Man, its been in the high 90's over here bro In LA...and this definitely cooled me down after a hard days work. I definitely recommend this one to anyone out there. Keep up the good reviews homie.

  • Thank you so much for letting me know what you thought of this brew. I love to know what people think of a beer. I also love this beer it is so good. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • lol, Beer.

  • Haha, That was kinda funny! Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Yeah, I can't wait to go get some bear now. Heh.

  • after watching this review i couldn't wait to go out and try a different beer since all me and my cousins drink is Budweiser xP. Man when i tried moose drool for the first time all i have to say WOW now that is what a real beer should taste like. I feel like that drooling moose on the case every time i want some more. Thanks for the review it definitely is a 2 thumbs up, too bad my cousins didn't like it tho =[

  • Well at least you liked it. You can't help it if you cousins have bad taste. This is one dam good beer. I recommend it to tons of people.

  • Moose drool! word! I just have to tell you, try a cold smoke, also from missoula, and also where im going to college right now!

  • A beer actually named Cold Smoke! Frickn' cool. I love smoke!! it is on my list thanks.

  • Do you buy all your beer from the same place? Cause most of the liqueur stores I go to don't have as wide a variety of selection as I'd like, unless I go to a place like Bevmo or something.

  • Gah, sorry didn't read your response below to the same question!

  • Haha, I do buy most of my beer from the same place. about 95% of them and the other 5% from two other places. I am lucky they have a good selection for not being as big as bevmo. Thanks for watching.

  • if you have a World Market or a BevMo or trader joe's in your town they'll have more what you're looking for ;)

  • Dude, i watched this video 45 mins ago........went and bought it and just finished my first........Holy Moose drool! Packed with flavor.......brew is nucking futs! Great aromas........oh and mine had some nice smoke! can't wait for red stripe review, though i will give my feedback on that when we get it in or i find it somewhere around.

  • Isn't this a great beer. If you get past the name and give it a try you can be really amazed with a great beer. Big Sky did good with this one. I love it and recommend it all the time. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • this sucks, I really wanna try this beer and cant find it :(

  • That is too bad my friend. I really recommend this beer too. It is one of my favorites. I am sure you would love it! Thanks for watching.

  • Your reviews are great! I have seen them all but I had to respond to this one. I never tasted the Moose Drool but I had to have one after seeing your review. I really liked this brown ale way better than Sam Adam's or Newcastle Brown Ale. Keep up the cool reviews. Suggstion for new beers to do would be some Choc beer made here in Oklahoma or some Boulevard Brewing out of Kansas City, MO. Oh I checked out beersuckers review and they got me to try Michelob Dunkelweisse which is awesome too!

  • Thanks for watching. Beersuckers is great. He has a lot of good reviews as do about 6 other beer reviewers. I watch them as well. As far as Moose Drool, I love this brew as well. The Co-owner of Big Sky Brewing wrote me and thanked me for this review as well. Which I thought was very cool of him to do. I would love to try something from Oklahoma if you could be more specific with a certain brewery and that would give me a place to start. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • Moose Drool isn't too hoppy. And there's tons of good microbrews out of MT. Like Tri-Motor, or Bayern.

  • I really liked this beer. I have since consumed a ton more. One of my many favorites. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • where do you get all these beers from? never heard of some of these. great reviews!

  • I am very lucky to have a three very good liquor stores by me. They stock very large selections of beer. Thank you for watching. Enjoy your beers.

  • Thanks again, will try the Drool! LOL... Do you think the lack of a creamy head is a result of no smoke; perhaps the CO2 out gassed?

    Woody

  • I never thought about it, but it could be because of the lack of smoke, huh? haha. This is a great beer and if you can find it grab six. You'll be glad you did. Thanks for watching.

  • Looks Damn Good! I wanna try it!

  • I was truly surprised at how good this beer was. I have bought this brew again since just to enjoy. Really really good beer. Thanks for watching.

  • i live in whitefish near the brewery!!!great ale!

  • Oh wow that is soo cool. That is one dam good beer. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • really good beer excellent choice

  • I was pleasantly surprised at how good this beer was.

  • great review could you review carling lager from the uk keep em coming

  • I have added it to the list. Thanks for your input!

  • People actually used to get the yeast to their beer from the mouths of the moos. I'm not sure if it's absolutely true but it's written to the Finnish folklore Kalevala wich has it's own chapter about beer brewing. Well I guess that it's true but sure sounds disgusting.

  • Bro, that is a great piece of beer history and thanks for sharing. Glad they don't make beer that way anymore! But maybe that is why they gave it the name. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • you'll dig the smoke, too! haha

  • Wow you live right by this place. That my friend is the answer to prayer! I enjoyed this beer so much. Blue moon is on the list. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • hey man, another great review. so helpful and entertaining =]

im a student at montana university in missoula and i get my fair share of this stuff haha

try to get your hands on some blue moon. its incredible

  • i see this all the time, never bothered to pick it up. i dunno why i haven't, love brown ales (newcastles a fav). i'll have to check this out.
