Well, in reality, Pikachu was the very first Pokemon created. Bulbasaur was simply the first one on the PokeDex.

@ThePizzaCow That is incorrect. The first Pokémon created was actually Rhydon. The first mascot was actually Clefairy, as seen in the first Pokémon manga. When the anime was being structured, they settled on Pikachu for the mascot to make it seem more gender-neutral.

That baby, is none other than cubone. And the harsh environment in where it lives changes the skull and attaches it to it's facial structure. That's where we get marowak.

It was because Nintendo never released the Azure Flute, so the only way to get to the Hall of Origin (where you capture Arceus) was by hacking, so they punished intruders that dare disrupt Arceus, thus resulting in suckish music, forcing you to turn the volume off or perish!!! -evil laugh-
