For being such a great commander, he made several childish errors....his choice of "revolution" in a country that had just had its own revolution and was finally at peace, a country that did not want a foreigner as leader, much less an Argentinian! and he also chose a place way too far away from his support base in Cuba, were Castro could not support him. He started to ambush young indigenous soldiers doing military service, thinking the native Bolivians were going to flock to his cause.

If you're ever in Florida, go to little Havana and talk to some of the older Cubans that fled Cuba. They could really enlighten you as to what Guevara was doing when he came into Havana with Castro. Don't just rely on the pro Guevara propaganda we're all spoon feed by the Socialist mindsets. Guevara was no above killing anyone that didn't fall in line with his crazy sense of what he felt was proper or right.

Geuvara has been idolized by the left for the last 50 plus years. Unfortunatley they have their own agenda and slant on what's right and wrong. Guevara was not some kind of peacenik. He was a violent revolutionary. To look upon him as some sort of Robin Hood is very nieve. Old Cubans lived it.

im not a cuban nor american. ive read the article about che. He's ideology is indeed great BUT the biggest mistake he made was to resort to a radical solution to his ideas. He choose violence thinking that it is the only way to change things. Violence breads hate, hate breads conflict and conflict breads war. You can't protect anything with violence. Before you can materialized ur ideas another problem has already arise because of war.. more poverty, more killings, etc.
