I am just hearing IQ for first time as I type. Awesome stuff. I'm planning on going to ROSFEST in the USA this spring and saw they are on the bill along with Karmakanic & Agents of Mercy, two huge faves. I also saw DT 1st time ever here in NJ in Oct. Excellent! Would love to see Transatlantic with Portnoy on sticks, but Mangini was incredible...(former MP instructor BTW)...............Prog On! Thx for the post vansRulez.
Simply one of the most emotional pieces by IQ in recent years.I believe this is more than pop alone, the bridge region between pop and prog.rock. like what Marillion and Pendragon have been doing for long years now. Excellent choice VansRulez.Lucky I could at least see them live during the Subterranea tour in Chile.
I bought this album after doing some random song searches on Amazon. I enjoyed the sample from track 3, and figured Id give the rest of the album a listen. Not only are the lyrics profound, but the melodies are beautiful. Id recommend this to anyone with good taste, and an open mind for music, and the world.
@VansRulez Because it's a track on the album, I could not hear it.
All other tracks are amazing, not this. Too sickly sweet and simple, this is pop, reminds me of Phil Collins or Coldplay. Peter also said that there are some pop tracks on the album. I do not like.
