Even with all the punches, this sport looks even more homo-erotic than pro-wrestling. Not saying the fighters are gay, but 4 minutes of the match was one dude mounting the other and the rest was 2 dudes hugging on the ropes (all in nothing but tight mini-shorts). @jaganmaster i totally agree with that but may i point out that the refs arent employed by the ufc. they are supplied by some official national agency. they just give the higher paid and more badass (herb/big john) ones to the more viewed organizations

Even with all the punches, this sport looks even more homo-erotic than pro-wrestling. Not saying the fighters are gay, but 4 minutes of the match was one dude mounting the other and the rest was 2 dudes hugging on the ropes (all in nothing but tight mini-shorts). I know I wouldn't be comfortable in these fights even I was good at the sport. Know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for that, but I can't be the only one that notices this.
Why didn't they make MMA closer to boxing than wrestling? >.>

I find it funny when people say ''georges ''safe'' pierre'' when he tries to finish fights unlike Jon Fitch who just lays on you and is afraid to exchange fists. He isn't fighting nobodies....he's fighting Number 1 Contenders he's the fucking man i don't care what you have to say, if you can last 25 minutes of pure MMA you've got to be the man....he's done it countless times, and he's only lost twice and he avenged those 2 losses. I am addressing my question to some experts: Is it written down in some rules exactly which martial arts are allowed to be used in MMA? Like Muay Thai,Jiu Jitsu,I know...but what if some MMA fighter decides to learn Aikido?Will that be forbidden to use in MMA?Or it is allowed,just not worth it,bcos it would not work in MMA?I wonder,pls someone help me!Thanks!!!

@wannaknowit I think judo is a better choice than aikido. (you need to know wrestling, boxing, and other things too)
