  • Thank you for a great video. I have just bought my son a few tools and a book on wood carving/whittling. All I need to buy now is a good knife for him, but I'm guessing that seeing as I've bought him the specialist tools just a good pen or pocket knife will suffice? Thanks again.

  • You sound like a pothead Hank hill.

  • For some reason, i don't know what it is.... But i love this video!!! It's pleasant, its charismatic, its, its,... Its just plain Freaking Awesome... Not to mention, you have the voice that's pleasant and the environment you present... Im hoping to put videos like this on you tube. You are the Bob Ross of Carving!

  • Thanks for sharing, I got several good tips.

  • I like this video a lot! Thanks for the show.

  • It was nice to hear you talk about your tools with love and passion.

  • Good vid sir. I was wondering about that jack knife...can you tell me something more about it? I found one ages ago (jsut found out the name though), didn't know it's purpose...and it was very soft, still is accutally. I've used it to carve wooden sheaths and it serves me good. But I bent the blade in order to do a spoon knife.

  • best... voice.... ever... please please please do a series of videos just reading stories or something

also i like your green man he is awesome :) i love you work

  • Flexcut did good. I always like people that make thier own tools.

  • Listening to you is kind of like listening to a story teller. You should go to the Jonesborough festival or maybe be doing voice-overs narrations for movies.

Also, I loved your video, very helpful to a newbie carver.

  • I'll take that as a compliment. :)

  • the voice of a teeneager and the hands of an old man haha!

  • "There made by Swiss Made"

I'm pretty sure that means there just made in Switzerland ; )

  • @AdamRyanKirkwood I know it would seem that "Swiss Made" means they're made in Switzerland, but that's their name. Look at woodcraft(dot)com and search for "Swiss Made" and you'll see that he wasn't making it up.

  • @AdamRyanKirkwood swiss made is a company
