  • this is nice- i live in L.A. now. thanks for posting,

  • Comment removed

  • no, that's a prerevenue testing begins OCT 4th.

  • just got news mta board scraped the buy plan to buy or build a manufacry for breda for the fucture. what ever they decide i hope los angeles we get nice looking lrv's

if they find another biber to build lrv's

  • they should buy Irv from Japan.

  • curb hieght trains scream out TROLLEY,and your standing on a platform that scream's out BUS,just my opinion

  • i wonder why the train needs to stop for red lights when the blue line does'nt ?

  • the blue line does stop for red lights when the train go through street running section.

  • Will the Eastside Extension open up this Saturday? I have checked Metro's website but no references are made as to an exact date.

  • Looks like they pushed back to the end of July. Metro decided to run Special Gold Line Eastside Bus Line from June 28th until the eastside extension opens.

  • if they made it curbheight they would have to demolish all goldline stations, and any ways curb height trains suck.

  • I was referring to metro's initial plans to build a high platform county wide LRV system as opposed to a low platform system back in the 1980's but I like to know why do you think curb height trains suck? Building high platform stations cost millions more than low platform stations with that savings metro could have reinvested that money to pay for other projects.

  • not sure. hope someone answer your question.

  • is that the new gold line?

  • Yes.

  • looks really nice

way better than the last one.

    what about the interior?

can you make a video of it?

  • no, I don't have any shots of interior.

  • Hey does anybody know if one of the Metro Rails go to Disneyland???

  • No, but Amtrak stops at Anaheim, CA which close to the disneyland.

  • I just found out that it does. You just gotta take the Green Line all the way to Norwalk and get on the Metro Express Bus 460

  • It takes 2 hrs to get to there by Metro Rail & Line 460.

  • Are you 100% certain it will open on the 27th or has it been yet to be confirmed?

  • that's what Metro folks told me. Metro's service change is June 28th, so the extension should open at the same time.

  • Do you know if they are gonna have a huge grand opening ceremony for the Gold Line extension like they usually do when a new rail line or an extension opens up?

  • Hope they do. you should check Metro's website.

  • awsomsome beautiful cant wait to ride when it open when ?

  • Thanks. I heard it will open on June 27th, 2009.

  • The train really does seem to speed up after that curve outta Little Tokyo Station

  • It does! but this is just a test run. it might slow down after the opening.

  • wow i dont like that horn but the gong is kinda cool 5******ds and fav!!!

  • thanks!

  • Thats what the MBTA in Boston needs

  • So who's going to be first to crash into it? :)

  • wow that's a positive attitude
