  • if that "new coke" was so good why did they stop making it i blame it on the Pepsi drinkers

  • Back when Coke had no high fructose corn syrup.

  • Why, Bill, Why?

  • Wow, he can't even force himself to look like he's enjoying Coke.

  • boy that new coke tasted like shit.even bill cosby didn't like it ..you can tell by the look on his face .every time he drank it

  • The 80s and the 90s had the best commercials ever. There were like a million bill cosby jokes in the 80s, and a million commercials made for kids with ADHD in the 90s. Now? >.> We got...I don't even know what we got anymore. I haven't had cable in like two years D:

  • Coke didn't want to be sued for the coca ( secret ingridient) aka, cocaine, in thier formula so they changed it by making "new coke". Then they practically got sued for changing it. So they went back to the regular old coke and introduced sprite, similar to new coke.

  • @jacobh1995 Sprite was introduced in 1961, long before the New Coke fiasco, and cocaine was removed from the Coca-Cola formula way back in 1902.

  • @jacobh1995 Pepsi had already been steadily encroaching on Coke's market share for years when Pepsi introduced the "Pepsi Challenge", a comparative taste test between Coke and Pepsi, in the late 1970s. To Coke's deep chagrin, even Coca-Cola employees who replicated the Pepsi Challenge preferred Pepsi to Coke more than half the time; this was the motivation for the introduction of New Coke, not the removal of cocaine. And Sprite was introduced in the early 1960s to compete with 7-Up, not Pepsi.

  • 0:58 this stuf sux

  • That new Coke was fucking awesome, dude! It went great with a good dessert like that Jello & Cool Whip pudding in the cloud shit!

  • Coke and Ritz crackers , a good snack combination. I wonder if Bill Cosby was making that face because he liked the New Coke , or he was making it because he didn't like it? lol

  • The New Coke was introduced by Bill Cosby.

  • this was before his "J-E-L-L-O" gig.

  • @mightymax1983 NO THE JELLO GIG GOES BACK TO LIKE 80 OR 81 HE WAS FAMOUS BEFORE THE COSBY SHOW YA KNOW !!!!

  • what did it taste like?

  • @mooksmovies New Coke tasted like a flat Pepsi with a couple of extra tablespoons of sugar and a squirt of liquid dishwashing detergent.

  • @supersporkspank

Sounds a little repulsive, but it's a great beverage now that it's Coca-Cola classic.

  • @mooksmovies I agree. :)

  • and Alan Kalter the voice of USA Network then

  • Now he's the announcer on 'Late Show with David Letterman'.

  • New Coke... what a dud.

  • They (Coca-Cola) took the REAL sugar out of their soda. What a disaster!

  • that's the late show's alan kalter doing the voiceover schtick in the ritz commercial.
