  • if you're dumb enough to leave the keys in after you walk away from it, you don't deserve to be riding a bike. i'm just saying. (or does that prevent hotwiring?)

  • Excelent

  • Gud for any type of bike?

  • I just installed this alarm on my bike a few days ago. Honestly, it is hands down the best because after staying late at my girlfriends place I deactivated the alarm and after the three normal beeps it beeped one more time which means the shock sensor went off and my bike was still there :D meaning someone fu*ked with my bike and decided to leave it alone because of the alarm!

  • I'm thinking of buying this alarm system for my go kart, It's a Parilla Iame 125 2 stroke engine with an electric start, It starts off a 12 volt motorcycle battery do you think it would run the battery dead within a short time or should it be okay? thanks

  • look just like the 8007 cyclealarm but $110 more y whats the different that the price is so much more ??

  • Eh...I'll stick with a two way pager..At least I will know if someone is tampering with my bike if...lets say if I park my bike near a construction zone, or public event. I can always compress start my motorcycle if the battery dies.

  • $199 at your website compared to £19.99 on ebay.. your website is a joke

  • @excriminal1 are you talking about CYCLONE V2 MOTORBIKE MOTORCYCLE ALARM on eBay and its from England

  • wich bike is this in the clip?

  • hello

  • If the alarm was two way then I'd buy it.

  • @Demrush Two way paging systems are cool but consume a lot of amperage and often draw motorcycle batteries down, leaving the owner with a dead or weakened battery. We have choosen to avoid this problem by sticking with a one-way pager. The two way pager has no significant advantage in preventing a theft from occuring; therefore it is not a feature we choose to offer. Ultimately two-way paging is a bling option. Our purpose to offer an alarm that effectively prevents motorcycle theft. Thanks.

  • @FreyMoto what's this alarm Amperage?

  • my only question is does it have some kind of tracker in it? if someone ignores the alarm and i dont get to the bike in time id be pretty upset. i just bought a kawasaki ninja 650r and im afraid that the weight might make it easy to just pick up and put in a truck. ):

  • are you talking about the auto arm feature which arms the system after you turn the ignition off?

  • I've disarmed but afetr sometimes (30s) is aremed and I can't ride

    help

  • hi me again

Does anybody know how to swith off the alarm?

is't possible or not at all

    Please answer

  • worked a few times but then i made mistake and engine doesn't start now

  • is there any dealer uk

  • @downhilll77 engine can't start

im not quite sure what to do

  • @downhilll77 sounds like your alarm might be in sleep mode with the engine immobilzer on, try existing the sleep mode.

  • Nice alarm system! Just curious though, what is the bike?

  • is it waterproof?

  • @primoisrael The Cyclone motorcycle alarm system is designed to withstand the normal motorcycle environment, but it is not designed to be submerged in water or subjected to high pressure water spray. If the alarm is installed according the manual, there will be no problems with water damage.

    Thanks,

    FreyMoto

  • I enjoyed this movie and would definately consider the product however I would definately consider switching mechanics if your mechanic cant figure out you have an alarm system considering all he has to do is take off the seat. Just a thought

  • @twistthatthrotle The sleep or valet mode is to prevent the alarm from auto arming, which may be an inconveneice for your mechanic if he did not know how to opperate the alarm system.

  • dude how did you install that

  • hey Freymoto

Im in australia, i like your system, does it need to be professionally installed?

  • @Brentmwalker no the system does not need to be professionally installed in order to continue the lifetime warranty

  • This guy knows how to present a product!

  • @shubh4ever2 The Cyclone paging system is back!

  • what if some1 with a cyclone alarm system and remote takes it to their local supermarket parking lot arms it looks at how many bikes beep, find the nicest bike, disarms and takes ur bike wat now?

  • @garyflom6 That's impossible. The system has random code changing technology, so everytime you press the button it changes to a different code of communication. This is common technology that any wireless security povider utilizes.

  • There is a installer in San Fransico. OCD Car Audio

  • i can't find a dealer near my area.. in Northern California in the wine country.

  • Bought mine. Cant wait till it gets here

  • Bought it Love It.

  • Bought it Love It.

  • Bought it :ove It.

  • So if the alarm doesn't go off in sleep mode, and it pulls current from the battery, wouldn't it just be easier to turn the alarm off for the repairs? not sure exactly what you meant by the sleep mode function, but anyway good job with this alarm system I think it will work.

  • @krgrubbs sleep mode serves as a valet mode since the alarm has an auto arm feature. So if you took your bike to the shop and you didn't want the alarm to get in the way of the mechanics, you can basically turn the alarm off so the mechanics don't have to deal with it. It also can be in sleep mode with the engine immobilzer turned on. In this mode the bike cannot be started but the alarm consumes almost no amperage. Good for long-term storage. I hope this helps to clarrify.

  • @krgrubbs the Cyclone alarm has an autoarm feature so you can't simply turn it off. Putting it in sleep mode is esentially turn the system off so the mechanics don't have the system trying to auto arm after they turn the ignition off.

  • i was wondering what kind of bike that is, im thinkin of buying a bike and id like the look of that one.

  • @squirreljedi516 I believe it is a 98 Honda Superhawk. I know the owner is currently trying to sell it. I think he wants around 3000.00 for it It's located in central wisconsin.

  • Does it fit on Gilera runner VXR 200 of 2007? I cannot find it on their site...

  • @FreyMoto when will yall have they one way pager, and how will i be able to get one i just brought this alarm today

  • @datboyhot32 we are scheduled to have more pagers arrive around August 20th 2010. You can actually place your order for them on the freymoto website now and they will go on back order until they arrive.

  • so sick!!

  • Can this be put on a moped? I am interested in this alarm. Of course I'm also wondering how I can attach this to a pager.

  • @shubh4ever2 No, you'll have to give us a call in about 2 months to see if it's in.

  • @shubh4ever2 We are making arrangments to bring our paging system back within the next two months.

  • is it possible to put this alarm on a scooter/moped?

  • no sound ???

  • where do i get the paging system

  • @DENNISPERAZA We no longer supply a paging system due to lack of demand.

  • Question: Will you ship one to NZ and are they installable on a Honda '93 CBR250rr?

  • @produKtNZ We ship any where in the world for 27 USD, it will arrive in 5 days.

  • Do high winds ever set it off or maybe some blowing debris?

  • We have never had any reports of this from customers. Cyclone has a digital filtration system that helps to filter out false alarms from issues such as loud exhaust.

  • very good video for this bike.can you help please if you can,i have cyclone c-11 to fix on my vespa piaggio et2 1999 and i dont have wiring diagram,i now the few wirings to fix red +long black go to batery,yellow-indicators,blue start switch, can you help me if you can please about 3 wiring go to ignition brown-pink and grey if you have the diagram for this scooter tell me here this 3 wires go[whtis cala in ignition many many tks vinnie. xx

  • The Cyclone c-11 is a complete different alarm system from the Cyclone 866F. It is not manufactured by Kiramek of Japan, it is from a China based company, which is why there is no technical support for the system. I am sorry but I do not know anything about the Cyclone c-11or how to install it.

  • could this be connected to a motorcycle remote starter ???

  • I was reading about another system that does not re-arm itself after the alarm is set off. This seems useless to me since a would be thief could possibly set it off, leave, and then come back and take it later. Does this system automatically re-arm after the alarm is set off and I am not around?

  • Yes, Cyclone does reset to an armed state after the system is triggered. However it also has a nuissance bypass which will allows it to disarm after five triggers. The nuissance bypass can also be deactivated if you do not like that feature. The great part of Cyclone is that you can program system to function how you need it to, it is very versatile.

  • I live in the UK.

    I have a Honda 125cc XR

    How much? Would it work?

I dont see any link on your info.

    Any help?

  • 199.99 US Dollars euqals about 132 GBP. About 17.76 GBP to ship via express mail service. I'm not familiar with the XR 125, but so long as it has these three features the alarm will work: 12 volt battery, Key switch, and kill switch. Just google FreyMoto to find our webste.

  • I watch the video and went to the website and was really impressed with the alarm. I was so impressed that I bought it and returmed the crappy 2 way paging alarm that DID NOT WORK as advertised!! There wasn't a lot of info on my 09' GSXR as to properly wire the starter disable. I call Freymoto and got assistance that helped a lot. Once the alarm was installed, it worked like a champ. THIS ALARM ROCKS!!!!

  • Thanks for the feedback! Glad your happy.

  • Is there a distributor in Holland for these alarms?

  • Unfortunately there is no distributor in Holland. We can ship Express Mail to Holland for only 26.95 USD. Usually arrives in 5 days and is fully insured. We can ship for this price to most countries at this price and service.

  • The best alarm would be that the thief is on the floor dead next to it.

But anyways... Can you get the 15% discount if you live in Europe (Netherlands) and does it fit on a ZX12R year 2000. Do I need some special attributes like cables or so?

  • This alarm is so compact, it can fit vertually any where you can literally slide a pack of cigs. No special tools required, unless you don't have the pro instal kit, which I didn't. You may need a multimeter, strippers, crimper (solder recommended), and a few splices and terminal ends for the battery.

  • Our Youtube discount is 10% and applies to any customer in any location. Just put the code in at check out. "youtube"

  • Can you adjust the sensitivity settings on the alarm? Say a light tap versus one of more force setting the alarm off?

  • Yes, the alarm has two shock sensors. One for hard and one for light shock. Both sensor are completely adjustable.

  • is cyclone available in canada

  • We do not have any Cyclone alarm dealers in Canada. However we do ship to Canada for only 19.99 USD and the alarm will arrive in 5 days.

  • I like the feature set of the Cyclone and its ease of use as demonstrated in the video. If I were to buy an alarm system today, this would be the one. However, the outdated 80's style pager is a bit of turn off. I wish FreyMoto would make a pager built into the Arm/Disarm key fob. Other than that, the system looks top notch.

  • This will help me, Cuz my Yamaha Yzf R1 . Is a thief magnet.

  • you get alot of alarm for your money with cyclone..

  • Comment removed

  • The Cyclone 866F is programmable to 10 or 30 second siren durations. Factory setting is 30 seconds, after 30 seconds it turns the siren off, until the sensors are triggered again - this is not the same as disarming. It does not automatically disarm. The alarm system on disarms when the owner disarms it. Cyclone does have a sector bypass system (SBS) that keeps the alarm from becoming a public nuisance. The alarm turns all sensors off after five consecutive triggers. This feature can be disabled.

  • Looks great, I am considering for my 04 gixxer 600. A few questions, how long will the alarm stay on before shutting off? Or will it sound until i disarm it? If it disarms automatically after a set time when I return to the bike how would I know that it went off? In your video you disarm it on the spot and it chirps notifying you what happened, what if i'm not right next to the bike? How would I know which sensor was triggered?

  • ehh, i prefer the scorpion alarm system

  • I appreciate your response and respect it, but I believe most people tout off about Scorpio beause it is the most well known. At this point the Cyclone is a bit of an underdog, not because of quality, just because it's newer to the market. However, it's an alarm that is more practical, affordable, and back by a significantly better warranty.

  • The Cyclone 866F can function in unison with any factory motorcycle alarm system. Also there would not be any problems using Cyclone with a tracking system.

  • LOL

    Nice!

...finally found a second use for her huh?!

  • can i use this along with another alarm system built into the bike already?i was thinking of getting this and haveing a tracking device on it as well...?

  • I received my unit and installed it already, works as advertised, just a quick question though is there a way you can disarm it and leave it disarmed aka turn off auto arm? If not what can I do if I want to work on my bike and not have the alarm rearm while I'm working on it? Thanks.

  • You can place the alarm system in sleep mode: the instructions for deactivating sleep mode are on page 13 of your owners manual.

  • he compared the size of the alarm to the size of a back of cigarettes... i want a cigaretet.

  • great presentaion i love the device, do u have shipping out of the US?

  • We can ship anywhere in the world. We ship to all major countries for only 30 USD, package will arrive in 5 days or less and is fully insured for this price.

  • Where can I buy another remote, I like to have a back up one just in case. Also what if I lost the remote? Thanks.

  • You can purchase the extra remote through us or any one of our dealers. If a remote were ever lost, you can use the manual disarm code to disarm the alarm system using your ignition key.

  • The only requirments for the alarm are the following:

    1) 12 volt DC battery

    2) Kill switch

    3) Ignition switch.

If you have these three requiremetns met, it will work.

  • I'm going to purcahse one of these through the website, is there a slot where I can just put in the discount code? Will this work for a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650r? also is there an extra remote that can be purchased? thanks.

  • During check out there is a box to put coupon codes in place. Extra remotes are available but not currently on the website. Yes, the system is compatible for the ninja and there is a install kit available.

  • Thanks! because of this video and the discount I ordered your product, I might order the one way sender later on too!

  • can this unit be installed on an atv? i have a 2006 honda 450r electric start. please let me know. thanks!

  • Price varies depending on where you purchase the system from. The average price is 199.99 for the alarm and 12.99 for the 250 Ninja install kit.

  • can i get this on a ninja 250r??

    how much would it cost?

  • i want one! i need one! i'm gonna order one for sure!

  • pshhh whatever, spend the extra dough for the scorpio with perimeter sensor and MUCH louder siren, also has a pager.

  • If one stops to think about the utility of a perimeter sensor on a motorcycle, you will find that it is rather foolish. If you like your alarm system constantly going off because someone walking by your bike set the alarm off, then by all means spend the extra money and then spend the rest of your time responding to false alarms. Summary: the Scorpio alarm is no louder, less practical, has a shorter warranty, and has less features than the Cyclone 866F, and costs more. The Cyclone makes sense.

  • You may be right I was kinda blowing smoke...

But as for the perimeter alarm, you don't have to use it all the time, just use a different mode.

  • How do you know what alarm has been triggered when your not by the bike to hear it chirp? Is there a remote device that tells you what has been triggered,if there isn't this doesn't make sense...It has nice features though....

  • great job in demonstrating the alarm!! and further clarifying with responses to comments!!

  • You can use this device in the UK. It does not need to be professionally installed to maintain the warranty. Installation is very easy. We also have kits for specific bikes.

  • can i buy this and use it in the UK? does it need to be professionally installed or can i do it easily myself?

  • Comment removed

  • cool but I got annoyed because of the fast talking...

  • yes, it works with any bike that has a 12 volt DC electrical system.

  • Fit a Japanese import 1989 CBR250R mc19?

  • hi, i have same bike and im thinking about that alarm. did u bought? is it working? thanks tomas

  • Sorry mate cant tell you. Had a small accidnet on my bike so repairs are coming first lol then this. If i get it ill let you know.

  • thanks for ansver my friend, im going to buy one. and i will send u how the alarm go. i have to try it, because is so many stolen bikes in my area. (i have garrage)

  • will all the fetures still work if installed on my old 87 honda super magna and how much is the alarm plus instalation?

  • Yes, all the features will work on your Magna. It makes no difference how old your bike is. Alarm plus installation is 269.99 USD

  • dude where i can reach you to buy the alarm, i need a very much plug in for a bandit1200s

  • my 2009 YZF-R6 was stolen on Tuesday night. I want the asshole who stole it AND the money to get a new one.

  • Not if you purchase our Pro-Install Kit

  • Is there any saudering required?

  • *soldering

  • if my bike is stolen i dont want a new one or it back, i want the asshole who stole it.

  • this alarm sounds great why hasnt this system been advertised

  • Does this alarm system works on my SYM RV 250?

  • The alarm system is compatible with any motorcycle or scooter that has a 12 volt electrical system. We do have Pro-Install Kits for a variety of different motorcycles and scooters.

  • If someone farts by that alarm , it will go off, lol, nice alarm ! Seems loud. Im thinking about getting one for my yamaha R1

  • blkout15 if you have a look at the map, then u will c the size of africa, its a fucking big contenant, South Africa is at the bottom, and i can garentee u i have had more a luxury life than u have.

DNT DIS AFRICA IF U KNOW LESS THAN JACKSHIT!!!!

  • Is this alarm system availeble in south africa????

  • We do not have any dealers in South Africa, but we will ship to South Africa. The cost of the alarm is 169.99 USD and the shipping cost will be only 24.00 USD and will arrive in about 5 days. Any questions please let me know.

  • That's one hell of an alarm. 160 decibels, woof.

  • Who the fuck is going to steal 1965 katana?

that's all they got in africa haha

  • You can order from a variety of websites online, that will ship to South Africa.

  • i need this alarm but i live in Saudi Arabia, so how do i get it

  • Google our company name FreyMoto to find our website. We cannot post the exact address of he website on Youtube so you will have to do some seaching. We do ship anywhere in the world for about 25 US dollars.

  • watch the opening title screen of the video for the website address.

  • The Cyclone 866F is a theft deterant device, it is not a tracking device. It is design to prevent theft from occuring in th first place.

  • OK, but what happens if someone picks up your bike and steals it in the back of a van or truck? Will you know where your bike has been taken?

  • The internal battery of Cyclone, when fully charged will blast the siren for two hours. So why did we shut it off so quickly, my friend you are very observant. When Cyclone comes from the factory, it has a small charge held in the battery, and needs to be charged up by the motorcycle. This happens only when you have the ignition ON. This video was filmed right after the alarm was installed, and we never ran the bike to charge the alarm battery. Thats why the siren blast was so short. Good catch!

  • It looks like a very good systerm, no doubt about it.

BUT the fact that you turn it off quickly when pulling the plug totally throws me. you didnt seem to mind the alarm going off earlier, so on that basis im thinking the batteries do not last very long and you are trying to hide this fact.

  • HOW DO I GET MY YOUTUBE DISCOUNT CODE?

  • Please read the info about Cyclone to the right of the video box. The code is youtube and can only use it at the official US Cyclone website. the site URL is freymoto

  • "You can find the system at a variety of websites online. The price range is 199.99 - 219.99." is that in dollars or pounds?

  • US dollars

  • Hey man how much will this run me???

  • You can find the system at a variety of websites online. The price range is 199.99 - 219.99.

  • i had an idea u kno those tasers right? well i was wondering if i can invent one that turns on and off line an alarm and when ure bike is tuched or moved wile it is activated u will get a fucking big ass electric shock

  • What do you think about the Scorpio SR-i900is? The features of the Scorpio have what that alarm has plus the proximity sensor.

  • It doesn't use perimeter sensors. Has capacitive sensing.

  • There is a detailed entry on the KIRAMEK Japan Cyclone FAQ about perimeter sensors and explains why they are not a prudent choice for bikes.

  • Lookup allmax chains..very impressive..not even bolt clippers can get em!

  • Chains can be one way of stopping a thief, but my gosh, do you really want to drag a bulky chain around with you. Some of these chains look like a logging chain. I would agree that they are practical if your parking your bike outside, in the same location every night. But if your traveling around, stopping at the local pub, dragging a chain around can be really impractical.

  • pretty *

  • Also, if you forget you have the chain on and try to take off on your bike, you are in for BIG surprise!

  • Looks like a really nice alarm. I have a scooter and would like one just in case.. but the price is a little high for me..

  • SWEET I wana scooter

  • yea but most of the time peoples bikes are where there are not many people in visual range...i mean all the time all of us hear alarms go off in the middle of the night and we just ignore them

but this would be a great alarm for a crowded parking lot

  • You bring up a good point, and the point is that a lot of alarm systems create more false alarms, and no one pays attention to them. Cyclone uses a digital filter to cancel out noise (loud exaust) which is often the cause. We also allow the user to adjust the sensitivity on two levels, warning chirp and full stage. But don't take my word, go to webbikeworld online and read their review of Cyclone 866F. Just search for Cyclone 866F and you see their review of testing Cyclone aginst false alarms.

  • hmmm.... fair enough. but if you were able to get to it quickly thats all you would have to do. EMP bomb? :P

  • Right, but that's the point of a motorcycle alarm - to draw attention to the situation. Whether it's the owners attention or someone passing by. I theif never likes to have attention drawn to himself. Cheers

  • There are three significant oversights with Scorpio's perimeter sensor: 1) You can't put a cover on your motorcycle, the wind will set the alarm off. 2) Lots of false alarms caused by people or animals passing by.3) The perimeter sensor uses alot of amperage and tends to drain the bikes battery. These are common issues most people don't thin about. Cyclone does one better by offering a tilt sensor. Most bikes that are stolen a picked up an placed in a van or truck. The tilt sensor catches this.
