I don't think this is about cheating. I just never saw it that way. It sounds more like... well... there's a girl he loves and he's waiting for her to figure out that she loves him to, but she's with other guys and it hurts him to see her as just a friend. So he thinks bitterly about how long he's been there for her and how upset he is when someone else is dating her and how he cares about her more than any of those guys ever would.
I'm thinking about starting a song interpretation club.

I'm not saying that you wrong it was probably their intention for it to be taken as a guy who won't let go but truth is "She spreads her love, she burns me up, I cant let go, I cant get out." is very open to interpretation so long as you can get you mind away from what you assume it means in this context. Its all about perspective. : )

If a guy cares enough about his girl then he will do his damndest to try to keep her , so I disagree with you SkullRiff , it's not just taking out your anger on the other guy ... it's doing anything to try to keep your girl

Also, I only mean what I said if the girl has already slept with another dude. I think it's silly when girls keep going after a guy who's cheated on them and I think the same when I guy goes for a girl who sleeps with someone else. But hey, that's just me.
