  • Hi Clevermonkeytees,

I liked this! Could you have done this with a nail UV lamp? I was just thinking of purchasing a 36watt (4 x 9watt) nail lamp and lay down a panel of glass between the photopolymer plate and light. What do you think?

  • @giddybloom I used 6x 15 Watt but if the 4x 9 Watt are able to harden the UV reactive nail finish it should (in theory) work as well. On the other side there are comments in the net that the cheap nail lamps would not work very well (for the nails). Finally it depends on the lamps level of UV radiation.

  • a 1000 watt halogen at 23 inches away for about 3 minutes would work way better.

  • Hi clevermonkeytees,

Not sure whether it would work better, never tried it. Maybe it does for t-Shirt printing but that's not what I use this unit for.

I produce electronic circuit boards and the exposure time in such a case is about 100 seconds only.

  • I NEED ONE PLEASE TELL WHERE AND HOW

  • Hi,

thanks a lot. For details please expand the "more info" tab on the right side. There you can find 2 links to my website: one to the full text (in German only, sorry) and another one to the English summary. Hope this helps - Cheers.

  • how bout showing how this unit it was built daniel son?

  • For real.

Where'd you salvage the the timer unit from? And you got it for a couple bucks?

C'mon man. Kick down the info.
