  • dude get a sector9 there way better

  • which trucks would be good for city cruising?

  • @CrunchyMuffbag Paris and Randals are nice for carving, which I'm assuming what you'll be doing when you cruise.Bears can also be nice and carvy if setup right.

  • i bet traffic hates yall lol

  • aw, my eyes

  • Im gunna buy one of these SICK boards

  • i wanna start longboaeding what kind of bored should i get ive seen other videos saying to get the maestro mini 32

  • im from hagerstown, the city in maryland that bustinboards first started making boards for themselves and friends.

  • what song is in this vid?

  • @MrNajiy Get the Maestro, it's the perfect board for beginners.

  • what song is that?

  • not gonna lie im kinda scared of going down big hills ill admit it, is there a bearing that makes it so that you can control your self going down hills but is still good going flats and uphill? or is that even possible.. if so can you please reply my neighborhood is pretty hilly too

  • Please Respond urgently!

    I'm 15 around 175 pounds

i'm just starting out so what board should i get???

I wanted the bustin ibach 40but am afraid it'll be a little stiff. please help me out! its mainly for cruising, carving, some tricksmaybe along the way and some downhill

  • @MrNajiy hard to say, the ibach is a fantastic board in my opinion, give me enough flex even tho i'm 120 lb. I have 2 videos about it, one as a tour/look at the board with flex test, the other is my review/opinion. It will work for carve or crusing, but make sure you get some good bushings, i was using stock randall and they are nightmares, switched them to venom, and it's all good now :D cheer! Also depends what kind of tricks you want to do... cross step and stuff will work no problem.

  • would the strike be good for long distance?

  • is this board sturdy also is it good for basic tricks like shuvits

  • will it hold 240 pounds??

  • dont bears have a 10.. axle? some answer please!

  • @Johnmunn01 There are Bears 852 and 1052.The 1052 have the 10mm axle.The 852 have the 8mm axle.

  • What do you think of my setup, strike, bear grizzly184mm,boca70mm84a,bone super swiss 6 bearings. for my board i am looking for carving, downhill and freeride but a bit of every thing else bot those are the most important 3

  • I am an avid longboarder and just purchased a bustin strike, i do a lot of big standup slides will this board be good for those

  • Skate within you limits? then how are you gonna get better?

  • hey what board should i get? the maestro, cigar,or the strike? ill be using it for cruising around town (commuting) ,carving, sliding and it needs to be fast. also what wheels, trucks, and bearings. by the way im 5"4' and around 120. thanks for the help in adavance.

  • song name?

  • just bought the deck having it custom painted any idea how long it will take to ship im falling off my seat jumpin up and down throwing shoes out my window excited

  • what song is this?

  • hey i ordered a a custom strike deck from you guys recently with redz, 180 randalls and purple otang stims, i do hills, starting to slide and I carve... what do ya think?

  • whats the name of this song??! freakin´awesome!

  • how do you make your longboard go faster and turn better.

  • Comment removed

  • what do you guys think of my set up? strike, super reds, 75 mm bokas, bears. This will be for commuting and small hills. But if i were to hit big hills would this be stable?

  • @TheFatguylaughing definitely a good one if your going to be seeking some moderate/big hills. Bears on this deck are very comfortable at speed but have a nice response on small hills as well

  • @bustinboards how do you make your longboard faster and turn better i have a strike

  • @bustinboards i want to use my longboard for transportation and i dont know if my trucks should be loose or wheels. is it better to have your wheels spin longer or worse. if you want to get speed to want to put your trucks loose.

  • im stuck what should I get maestro or the strike, i wanna get the most out of each push and go downhill but minimize speed wobbles, what should I get.

  • @theonlylanceleft strike, stable smooth, and a bit bigger

  • has anyone had problems with the bolts rubbing on the trucks or stress fractures?

  • i'm suprised non of those taxi drivers have killed you yet, keep it up man, stay steezy

  • Just got my maestro last Tuesday and i LOVE IT

  • i love my bustin strike. this board rocks!!

  • hey i weigh about 176pounds and i am getting the maestro. do you think that my weight will be alright for the board?

  • @nickolopias hey nick, you're well within the weight limit for the Maestro. We typically top that board out at about 220 lbs, depending on how it's going to be used.

  • Is this board good for downhill and speedboarding...

  • @LoadedOrangatangKid7 The Strike is not a downhill specific board, but it can be used for downhill. You just have to be careful with how you set it up. If you can get your hands on some Randall 35 degree plates, I'd throw that in the back, and maybe a 42 degree up front, depending on how fast you plan to go. I have mine set up with a 50 degree in front and a 42 in back for aggressive city riding that's stable at speed. The key will be your bushing setup.

  • i have paris drop thru trucks and 75mm lime bigzigs, and thinking about putting those on the strike. yes no maybe?

  • @tszczebak Go for it. I've got 83mm flywheels on mine!

  • @1WAY2HIM

lol. I'm pretty sure nobody gives a shit. In cities where theres traffic, nobody gives. I was in NY one time, and I saw a car push another car back for parking space.

  • i am still creating my board, and i am 14 and i am not gonna be going down huge hills and i am just getting one to just cruise around and go down small hills in my town, how much of a difference would i see if i spent more money on the bone swiss bearings rather then the bones super reds?

  • @drdeath368 unless you're planning on racing or doing serious DH stuff, you don't even really need Super Reds. you'll be fine with just plain Reds, or even just some ABEC7s

  • @drdeath368 i always say with bones bearing, you do get what you pay for. I appreciate better bearings when im pushing flats or doing small hills or commuting. that way you roll farther per push.

on big hills better bearing just help reach the top speed possible, either way gravity will get you going fast. so when you dont have gravity on your side and your not looking for faster and higher speeds better bearings are always appreciated

  • @drdeath368 im just using standerd abec 7s and there working great and thier only $10

  • what setup did u have when u shot 1:05 power carving

  • hey, i got this bustin strike board with gullwing chargers but it feels really dead on turns. does anybody here have a good truck/set-up for this board?

  • @jaysucks312 you probably don't even need different trucks, just get some softer bushings and you should be fine

  • This song is really good. What's it called?

  • I got my strike a few weeks ago and iv been getting my slides down lately and my friend asked if my board came with bearing spacers and i wasn't sure, do they come with bearing spacers or should i have gotten them myself?

  • wats the difference between the maestro and the strike?

  • Skateboarding CAN be a dangerous sport if you ride through New York with reckless disregard for others!

  • hey bustin im trying on decided whether to get sojourn or strike can i do tricks on strike or should i go with sojourn for that and also would 4presidents work on either of them well?

  • do these boards have flex??

  • @waTskiLLz some do which ones u talking bout strike, complex, cigar, sojourn, spilff,or the Meastro the newest ones???

  • @waTskiLLz i have to meastro and i am 110 and the board flex a bet but when my dad stands on it its alot and idk how much he is but my cusin stands on it and its flexs the same as me and 6.4'

  • whats the difference between the maestro and strike?

  • which board would you reccomend for me

i suck at riding a skateboard

im not interested in doing flips and shit

    easiest board to ride

    easiest to push

  • how much does the strike weigh?

  • anyone know where i can get the sheet music or tabs for this song?? (piano tabs i mean lol) really keen to learn it. also the bustin strike is freakin awesome.. really wanna go traffic surfing now lol

  • HELMET!!!!!

  • Im really stuck right now, ive actually used the apex 37, but the Strike looks really good, this is kinda to anyone, Apex 37 or the Strike, I dont know which one to get.

  • @BIGmacjack978 hey man, I think a Maestro is a better comparison to the Apex 37. It is more flexible and is more of a twin tip shape. How much do you weigh?

  • @BIGmacjack978 get the strike, i got mine about 5 days ago, it rides unbelievably, and if you have skateboarded before this, you will never ride your kateboard again, i love this board you should get it

  • @BIGmacjack978 go with a bustin board. ive used several original boards and dont get me wrong they are great baords but there trucks suck dick bro. i got speed wobble on flat land at 15mph. bustin is also more of a trick board brand i think to. but idk its ultimatley ur pick

  • @BIGmacjack978 i got a strike a few weeks ago and i love it. bustin boards have a lot more curce to then than other boards do and it flexes for a really enjoyable ride.

  • Somebody can help me ?

I looking for the title of this music

  • hey,, does this board have good flex,, im thinking of buying it

  • what do you think the best all-around setup for the strike is? including carving and speed and sliding--im about to buy one and im not sure what to put on it

  • @Bigkevin300 i like the Bear Grizzly and 75mm Boca wheel.. we use the double barrel bushings in the Bear trucks because they carve better

  • just ordered a custom bustin strike online, so syced to get it! does it come assembled or will i have to put it together?

  • @lucky13jake it comes assembled, thanks!

  • we can send it assembled or not. just make a note

at 120 lbs the board is not bouncy but it does respond great,

more importantly at your weight, you want to spend the extra 18 bucks on 4 new bushings. your not heavy enough that the stock bushings from any truck company are going to give you the carve and rebound your looking for. hit us up on a PM and well get the custom set up just right for you

    TravisD

    BUstin

  • i might get this board is it good for carving and cruising? im 120 pounds so how will the flex be? and when you customize your own boards on the website do you guys set it up for me or your just going to send parts and the deck for me to set it up?

  • @AirForce576 hey dude, the board will be pretty stiff at 120 lbs. i might suggest the Maestro board because it is 7-ply. and yes, when you build a board online we assemble everything for you. cheers

  • Theses boards are sikk dude! i saw ur website! loved the boards! i wuz just gunna buy an apex 37 but i might reconsider!

  • @STATiKoSHOKo excellent! glad you share the stoke! whatever you choose, enjoy the ride

  • @STATiKoSHOKo same dude. haha. i ended up going with the strike and im pumped for it.

  • The Strike on Randal 180's with 70mm wheels is a clean, fast setup. You'll feel flex that will hold your edge in carves and it will help snap you into another carve. Great free ride setup. Broadway Bomb champion setup.

  • If my weight is only 145-150... will there still be flex when i ride the strike? eg. carving and stuff. Im curious whether i should buy it as a cruiser. And whats the difference in using the Randals you guys recommend compared to paris trucks?

  • The Strike is 8 ply Canadian Maple which will absorb road vibration but the deck is not super flexy. 200lbs+ will make the Strike flex comfortably.

  • k thanks

  • if im like 200-240 lbs. will the strike flex too much and hit the ground?

  • @1Thunderhorse1 I am 225 and started riding Bustin boards a few weeks ago. They are strong enough where you can push and have your foot right in the middle of the board if you want. They are super low and like mine a lot. I just have Randals with flashbacks, 70mm in the front an 76mms in the back, a true NYC rat rod set up.

  • the apex is a well designed board. the shape of the Strike is forward cambered, like the center cambered apex but the wheelbase is extended for easier pumping for riders who stand over 5'7. The Strike is great with Randal 180 trucks and 70-75mm wheels. So smooth and so low for the easiest push, which is 70% of your ride.

  • i like to cruise, learn how to dance, and do stand up slides. maybe some hands down slides. maybe not.

want a short board becuz travelling with a 38'' vanguard is a bit. troublesome. lol thanks!

  • idk what to get !!!

i want a nice short board.

looking at Apex 34, Loaded Cev, Bustin Spliff or Strike.

I met the guy at 0:48. or some other guy. Solomon? but i stood on his strike. man was that a Low board. and its pretty stiff. i just did one push. but idk. which one shud i get?

  • go for the apex......the apex is not a dh board but its great for free style flat alnd and some small hills.

  • @OhSnapitsJuzDin apex 34

  • yeah they'll fit. give um a try id love to hear what you think about that combo!

    -tavisdsupervilan

  • These look like great freeride boards. Low to the ground

    not to long. some flex.

with good wheels they could shred

  • I weigh 145-150 and I currently own a Dervish Flex 2 and I love how that flex responds to my weight. I am curious about this strike board though since the holidays are coming up and im looking for a new deck. Is the flex similar to that of the dervish or is it significantly stiffer?

  • i can't answer you question; i have never ridden a Dervish before, but the I can tell you that the strike is VERY stiff. If it had any flex, the bottom would scrape the ground :D but idk, i dont mind the lack of flex

  • yea ive got a strike too and the stiffness is totally fine

u can still get some great carving in and it responds great to everything i wanna do on it

  • idk if i want this board or the sojourn.

i like the strike cuz its low to the ground; hence better stability and easier pumping, but the sojourn is better for shoveits and can take curbs that the strike would scrape on. Plus, the sojourn is compatible with more types or trucks, wheels, and has more graphics.

  • first, i would not say the strike is better for pumping. I pump my SV2 like crazy, the strike will only pass as a "pumper" if with a randall 150 up front and a nice bushing combo. the strike is certainly the most stable.

The Sojourn our trick board! were only now realizing the potential of this board as a radical skate-long board hybrid.

most trucks/wheels will fit on the strike( up to about 80 mm), and yeah, most everything will fit on the SV2.

check out the website for new L.E. graphics

  • can my gullwing chargers . fit into this ?

  • yes, the bustin strike will fit any reverse king-pin trucks

  • @DragonForceGlitch lose the gullwings- they're crap- I know sector nine made the switch but I recommend something else

  • like what ?

  • Is this a freestyle board, is it meant for tricks?

  • Buttery goodness.

    Two questions:

1.How's the flex? I weigh about 195lbs, so is it going to flex a lot under me?

2.Can I mount my Holey trucks on it?

  • yummy buttery goodness you mean.

    1) I am 200 and it has a mild flex that gives enough response out of carves to still pop, but doesnt bottom out.

    2) I just looked at the Holeys and the baseplates seem pretty similar to Randal and Bear so i would think they fit. Notice I said "I would THINK they fit." we are changing the drop some so add more meat, so I cannot say indefinitely.

  • how much does it weigh?

  • a little less than 3 lbs by itself/. Assembled you are looking at around 8.5 lbs.

  • I'm ordering one!

    FTW.

    ;o

  • You wont and can't possibly be disappointed with this board, so versatile and tight. Its the shit bro!

  • Sweet! =D

  • oh super sweet my friend! super sweet!

  • that was me, but than i got randals. so you can stop trying to be mean or impress me with something. i honestly dont know where your going with this.

  • hey where is your store located? i just moved to NYC and ive been looking for a new longboard! please help!

  • The shop is actually out in Hoboken New Jersey, but if you would like to go in and physically purchase a board you have to other options, you can head down to Paragon Sports on 14th street in Manhattan OR!! You can wait till November 14th when the storefront opens up in Williamsburg Brooklyn. If you can wait till then I'd suggest it just to help give that extra push for the storefront.

  • good info kdude1000. Our production shop is in Hoboken and we are opening a flagship retail store in Brooklyn Nov 13. You can find our boards in Paragon, both Blades and as of this week, Reciprocal Skate shop. Check them out, they have a ton of cool decks and there is a skate park right next door.

  • great board for DH I'm rocking with abec 11 > bone swiss > and grizzles fo shizzle dizzle

  • ordering tmmorrow with lemon retro zigzags bones labrynths and grizzlies oh yeah

  • how good is it for DH?

  • i wonder if you could put gullwing sidewinders on it? maybe the universe would explode... and it would be awesome

  • you can, but speedwobble becomes just that more immenent.

not even over 20-15 mph and yur down.

  • best comment ever

  • why sidewinders of all trucks?!?!?

  • that was when sidewinders were cool

  • to those who didnt do there research on trucks.

  • Okay, so my bro has ordered one of these and I'm waiting to try it out, but I've looked at the Spliffs. I kinda like them because they're small and can do carves good, but I'm kinda getting the feeling they're mostly for tricks and stuff? From what I hear. I'm just looking for a board that's good at cruising, sliding at turns, and ripping it up down a hill, and this one seems to do best at all those. Which one would be best for my needs? (Cruisng, sliding, ripping.)

  • Yeah the strike would be best for what you want to do followed by the complex.

  • i have literally watched this video 8 times straight

i want my strike to come in the mail so bad :P

  • Is it possible to run Original S6 Trucks on the Strike deck?

  • should be, and with a little modifications it would be very easy, I'm running Original S6's on my Alien Workshop deck, gave the board to my friend who was in love with my Derringer 28 after it snapped. Runs great, so I see no reason why this board wouldn't be able to handle it :)

  • ordered mine a week ago

:) can not wait to get it!

    i hate waiting haha

  • Would this be a good commuter board for a college campus that has tons of hills around. Im going to UC Santa Cruz and i want a good all around board and so far this fits the bill perfectly, even seems small enough.

  • Yeah, this is a good board for campus cruising. At 37", its small enough to conceal under your desk and really has a good range for carving in tight spots. I think you'll want a really maneuverable setup - i would recommend the Randal trucks with one of our 70mm wheels (Orangatangs perhaps..). Cheers

  • Thanks for the response, I'm gonna be buying one soon (once i get some money again lol)

  • that looks so much fun going through all the cars, it looks so epic

  • i just got my board five days ago, and have been riding since. i can't begin to describe how much i like it. i plan on putting out a video to show everyone how bad i am haha. i'm still trying to pull off a super long manual, but havent gotten that big of one yet.

  • where is this big manual vid you promised, ha?! Hope you are still stoked on the board.

  • i promised a vid, not a big manual one haha. i actually was in a carving video that my friend made, it should be the first thing youd see on my profile. but yeah im definitely still stoked on the board. its getting cold in wisconsin, and im pretty busy with college, but i still go out and ride several times a week. ive got mud and leaves and stuff crusted on my grip, gives it a nice personal feel to it. my friends also got some other footage and we plan on finishing a vid sometime?

  • just joking with you about the big manual. You can probably ride one out better than I can.

Make sure to reply here with the finished video so we all can see it. Get in as much riding as you can before snowboard season kicks in!

  • Can't wait to get a strike and take on Greenpoint and Long Island City!

  • hey I'm down to skate with you, give me some info and we'll totally hook up, I already skated Greenpoint and long island city for an accumulated miles of 12.4

  • loaded dervish vs the strike who will win? the strike looks awesome gonna order one

  • I also want to know that.. the dervish with randal trucks and orangotang wheels is a very nice board.. but the strike looks awesome.. who will win? does someone got a clue on that?? the strike vs loaded dervish?? :S

  • I just ordered a complex and Can't wait to get it, but now I am having second thoughts about not getting the strike. The Complex and Strike were the two I liked the most and the two I had the hardest time picking between.

  • Love my complex board, great looking and fun to ride. Strike looks awesome. Fully reccomend this company, you wont be dissapointed. Customer service rocks, keep up the good work. Cheers!

  • how much would shipping cost to australia?

  • we ship just about anywhere in the world. Shipping for a complete board is usually around $54 but can vary slightly depending on which options you choose. cheers

  • yo you came to my school for career day and now im gettin the cigar board for my b day thx man the boards are awsome

  • bustins are designed so well, the wedge offset makes it awesome for pumping

  • hows the flex on the bustin boards ?

also how is it for dancing on their boards?

  • My riders can dance all over this thing. It has a wide center that is perfect for dancing all while having a functional tail as well. We will have some more vids out soon to showcase just what i am talking about.

  • I'm looking for a new board and I'm stuck between one of these and any board of the loaded lineup :/

  • same here.

cant decide between the loaded dervish, original apex 37, or this board....so many choices lol

  • alright thanks. after reading about it being a stiff board, it had me wondering.

  • This board was designed to be a rigid city killer but still have enough flex to not feel like a plank.

  • Is the strike flexible? can it support me, 128 ish lbs, jumping on it?

i tend to do small hops to let my current S9, Joel tudor, bump over a large-ish crack, but im scared id crack/snap it :x.

  • I am 200 and jump around on this board all day. This will not be an issue for you.

  • Hey

I was wondering if I buy a Complete set for the Strike, do i need to make any changes/mods like involving trucks? I'm pretty new to longboard hardware and customizing.

Like i've read about people changing their randals to reverse or something. any helpful replies would be great =D

  • I rock my Strike with Randals and Flywheels. I love the setup and I ride all stock. There are so many options out there to tweak that i personally dont know where to start. Lots of people change bushings or flip hangars, but I havent felt the need to do so. Read through some of the reviews on our site so see what others have done or check our SilverFish for recs.

  • you don't realy get to see the board much in this vid do you? -.-

  • i got crail dh's on my strike and at mid 30's its stable as a rock, never brought it up to 40 though. got khiro orange (mild soft) barrels and red (med soft) cones on both trucks with em just loose enough to get full turning out of the trucks. not the best tight carving board with these trucks though, but i got the spliff with 150mm loosey goosey trucks for that ;)

  • hit us up at the website for a real recommendation on which board will fit you.

  • I just noticed that almost all longboarders live near boulder.

  • In Colorado, maybe. They're all over the place. Greeley CO ftw.

  • prob is

  • that was an amazing video guys. liked the music too it went well with the video.

  • I think the Bustin Board company is really cool. They seem to really care about their products and costumers. I love how you can customize any board you want, and you can find awesome deals if you check their sight often enough. I love the free shipping and free assembly. Plus their boards are really nice. How could you not love a bustin?

  • Oh I forgot, they're also eco-concious and use stuff like bamboo and hemp in their board construction and use eco-friendly grip tape and stuff. Super cool

  • MAN i love this vid... especialy the beginning. FYI on my bucket list of things to do before i die, your Broadway bomb is the top 10. ill be coming from ARKANSAS to compete for the win, ill have you know i will be competing with a no fear for traffic attitude. im a nice guy by the way :) QUESTION!!! im seriously considering buying this board. i really want a speed board though, if i tighten my trucks up (randall 180's) will this deck give me much stability? for serious bombing lik 45mph+

  • taking this board much past thirty is asking for a hefty wipe-out. it's a great deck for urban assault and what not, but the flex (mild as it is), relatively small wheel base, and intense turn-iness all get amplified by the high-speed instability of rII 180's to make for a crash worth telling stories about. i'm sure you could get around forty with some first rate dh trucks, though.

  • I've constantly gone well past thirty and have yet to wipe-out.
