To be honest, I've played Ibaneze, ESP, Fender, and Gibson, but I've never found a guitar I love more than a Schecter. The necks on those guitars are just perfect. They sound great for practically any style of music (especially metal), and they're relatively cheap. Only a few of their guitars cost over $1000.00. The Schecter I own cost me $599.00 and I can easily say its better than a $1000.00 Ibanez.
Caio Silva using an ibanez S series, the contest the Brazilian guitarists Doublevision dvd sponsored by big companies here in Brazil, the winner will disseminate their work in the media!
Also ESP is dependent on their artist, not their buyers, On the Contrary Ibanez has yes ALOT of Endorsers and usually Icons of Music and entreprenuers of different genres... so comparingIbanez Wins overall subjects :)
@BCIBZ72 Not so. I play ESPs because I prefer them over Ibanez (even though Ibanez does make quality products; I've owned both) and I know a lot of other metal players that feel the same way. It's all just a matter of personal opinion so let's just give up the Ibanez vs. ESP thing. They're both great companies.
Will sorry but ESP have very poor models, I traded my ESP guitar for Ibanez, Plus Ibanez been around longer than ESP & If you follow the chain, when Ibanez made the first mass produced 8-string, with in months ESP made one too which is poorly constructed & non-versatile, and Ibanez have done "26.5" necks before ESP and other Specs but lately for "Economic Issues" they kept "25.5" as a standard, Now since Ibanez is rsing they're expanding they're models and perfecting them like they always done
That's true that Esp bodies are much more than 10 years ahead of ibanez... but I'm not sure about esp's floyd rose bridges... Edge Zero looks more interesting :P.
The 26.5" neck is nothing new, the ESP M7 has been coming with that for like 10 years, and a bunch of other 7 strings have that too (like the loomis schecter model).
@ibzmav Awe! High five! Dude no one is so precise like the master GG. It says at the end it was JS but I've never heard JS so good like that. If it is him I take my hat off to him!
Great job on the 2010 models. This looks like a promising year for Ibanez. The highlights for me are the new RGAs, the RGDs, and the ART600. I will definately be checking out that beautiful ART600.
@ScreamingBloodyGore lest we not forget that dude and the band Emmure is a fucking IDIOT.LETS SCOOP TEH AMPS YO!!! LEMMEH SHOW MY TEKNIGUL SKILLZ OUT ON DIS GEETAR!!!! -plays first 3 frets and first 3 strings- my mind is now blown
I would never buy a Steve Vai guitar. The design and colours look so stupid.

I'm very happy with Ibanez this year. Very cool updates and new guitar models.
Other companies seem to lack creativity this year with their new models. You might as well call ESP's new guitars part of Schecter.
