  • i really love that whole "yee haw" part

  • genius lyrics

  • Aboriginees? Luv 'em. I collect Aboriginal artwork. LIVE kicked on this!

  • You guys are right, it's hard to Google them and even search here on YouTube. They should of had a different name.....like.....

Public Affection.....or as my buddy calls em.....Pubic Erection. If they aren't the best ummmm, 'live' band, then they are on the bill with Pearl Jam and Ben Harper.

  • Yeah, that's why his shows are continuously sold out. Actually Frenchy, its your unwanted opinion that sucks. But what would you expect from the president of the Backstreet Boys fan club.

  • opinions like urs suck...

  • Gotta wonder if they wouldn't have done better for themsleves with a different band name. Let's face it, everyone who really loves them has had conversations like this: "Okay, who are they?" "Live." "Who?" "Live." "Right, but the band is...?" "Not The Band. Live." "But who is the group?" "Not The Who, either." "What is their name!?" "Live." "I don't care. What do they call themselves!" "Live." "I'm going to punch you right in the mouth..."
  • MrQaurk -- Nice Post

    Who's on First

I really never heard of this group and couldn't figure out their name, hahaha.

  • yeah man and it's very hard to google search stuff on them

  • It's really hard to search for them online =0 haha

  • It's a good thing you tube is a good source for music videos.

  • yeah, it's the name. if you just put in 'Live' you find loads of other stuff that's nothing to do with them

  • For show and tell when I was in uhm, Grade 5, I was talking about a Live concert, afterwards my teacher asked what band I was talking about...

  • lol

  • After all the 'Who's on First?' talk, you tell them that they're the band that did 'Lightning Crashes' and suddenly they're saying "Oh THOSE guys! I love them. Pretty good for a one hit wonder."

Then you grab them by the lapels and give them a good shake.

"One hit wonder, my ass! They also did that song that got overplayed after 9/11."

    "Overcome?"

    "Yes!"

    "That's the same band!?"

    "YES!!!"

I promise that would never happen if they had a name that was a little 'less clever.'

  • I think that it's like when the Blessid Union of Souls put out "I Believe" in 1994 and "Hey Leonardo" in 1999; both were big hits, but they sounded like two different bands, and in my case I didn't notice they were by the same band until 2004 when that "she likes me for me" video was playing in a movie rental store and the end text came up and I finally learned the title and artist of that overplayed song.

  • Only just found this clip online.

Footage was taken at the 2 Melbourne concerts at Rod Laver Arena, remember coz was at the 2nd concert and they did performed the song twice, first as part of the show and then a 2nd time to do the recording.

Had a friend who was at the show the night before, and they said the same thing, 2 performances of the song, one with cameras everywhere...

  • This is an awesome video. I had no idea they'd made it in Australia. Looks like footage from one of their Sydney concerts on the V tour, as well. Only thing I don't understand is why on earth they're tossing American bills around - no visual continuity there, heh. Though I suppose since the song mentions 'dollar bills', it could be that. Interesting spin on the song when it's played against these visuals, although slightly odd, given the lyrics. It's a very American song.

  • type in live overcome live...one of the great performances ever

  • Fav band ever. I love every song I hear by them :) Even if i dont know the song...

  • i hate when good bands are so underrated but then terrible music gets non-stop airplay!

  • greatest band of all time...they always get the short end of the stick...so underrated

  • love this song..and group..don't understand why they don't get more air time out here in so. calif

  • Ausome song, never get tired of it

  • cool music video! its a long time ago Ed had hear on his head
