yeah... shane saw her dad with an other girl although he has a wife and a son. He was cheating his wife with this girl. And shane does know that she is like her dad and she knows that she could never be faithful.

@SandraHeartsRyan Carmen knew to good why shane asked her to marry her, because of dana´s death, when you really care about someone and they do something because of fear, the wise thing to do is to let them think about it, give them space and time, that´s what carmen did, and of course she loved shane so much that the most important thing was being with her, married or not. So she said yes. And that´s why Carmen is so adored despite she was only in 2 seasons of 6.
