I don't think he had plastic surgery, at least not something big. I heard rumors about an eyelid surgery or getting his nose done but even if that's true, it's not fair to compare him now with how he looks in this video. He's 14/15 here, he's a lot older now. I'm sure everyone would look different, faces change (a lot) at that age >.<
I've seen other auditions of Korean idols and tbh, I could barely recognize some of them.

I think it's really disgusting how the world (Korea even more than North America) values beauty over talent, hard work etc. Many idols that get PS are talented (like kyuhyun and park bom) but it still disturbs me that they were so insecure about their looks that they'd get surgery to change their faces to please others.
I will say this if you WERE jaejoong fan but stoped now because you found out he had something done to his face you were not a real fan to begin with.

When I find out idols that I like have had plastic surgery I can never look at them and say they are beautiful like before. All I can see them as is mannequins or illusions. Not only that, but I can't help but see that idol as being a shallow and/or insecure person which are both unattractive traits in people.
Oh God he looks so different. His eyes, nose, and chin look WAY different. Maybe the chin is just different because he weighed more then but his eyes and nose were definitely changed.

what a big diff... with the jaw. Jaw surgery(chin augmentation) is big surgery compare to double eyelid. I heard from the doctor said they will cut/shorten the jaw from the side and connect with a metal(some material) ...ouch..

It's hard to tell when the before and after is during teenage and young adult years because as HUMANS we really do change. Loss of baby fat, styling, the fixing of teeth, how stressed we are, it ALL affects our face one way or another. The only true test of someone doing surgery is for them to do things that are considered NO-NO's. Take for example, pressing your entire face and breaking through tough plastic. If someone can do that... then I don't think he did do surgery.

its obvious his eyes were swollen here making his eyes seem smaller than usual, it applies to everybody when ur eyes r swollen! plus he said he used double eyelid tape nd if u dont use it for a long amount of time, it becomes the 'hidden' eyelid that he now has (but occasionally his double eyelid pops out)

I don't care if he had cosmetic procedures done on every part of his face and body. It's HIS face and HIS body. One thing you can not argue is that he is a talented singer and songwriter. Just lay off of him already.

@PockyPuri His eyes look bigger now because he wears contact lens and eye make up. Contact lens can really make your eyes look bigger. That's my own experience. U don't need to go for eye surgery to make them look bigger. But i think he may have done double eyelid. And this hair style doesn't suit him.
I honestly don't understand where ppl see "plastic surgery" on him. He looks the same as for face and all. As for style, he sure as hell picked up on it and knows how to look good now. This was 7 years ago, the body changes you know. Just because most ppl do go under the knife, doesn't mean he had to. =_= Just my opinion. :D

@pinkwind87 As much as I love Jaejoong, I have to say he definitely got his nose raised. If you see his pictures during hug, he didn't have that high of a nose. If you're talking about the surgeried nose, there's a method to reshape your nose without going under knife. There's this type of filler thing that is injected into your nose or nose bridge and can be shaped to make it the way you want it to be like. It's only temporary so you would have to do the injection again after 12-18 months.
People see him different because no.1 his haircut isnt handsome, imagine him with rising sun haircut & u will see no difference between him here & now. no.2 his clothes were really bad that made him look cubby

I used to hav same features as Jaejoong. Small eyes, face shape and almost the same nose except his nose bridge is a little bit higher and bigger at the end. Now that i lost weight my face shape is almost like him now but mine still looks chubbier. What changed are his eyes which probably from the surgery or fats he ate to get muscles and his nose because it looks sharper and pointier. His eyebrows he must have shape it up. Overall make up makes him look even better.
And for people who are like, even with plastic surgery cannot achieve his face, WRONG. If you understand the mechanics of plastic surgery, IT IS CAPABLE of achieving any face! I'm a fan as well, but I shouldn't be blind, and so I say the truth. You all should accept this.

It's hard to tell when the before and after is during teenage and young adult years because as HUMANS we really do change. Loss of baby fat, styling, the fixing of teeth, how stressed we are, it ALL affects our face one way or another. The only true test of someone doing surgery is for them to do things that are considered NO-NO's. Take for example, pressing your entire face and breaking through tough plastic. If someone can do that... then I don't think he did do surgery.

its obvious his eyes were swollen here making his eyes seem smaller than usual, it applies to everybody when ur eyes r swollen! plus he said he used double eyelid tape nd if u dont use it for a long amount of time, it becomes the 'hidden' eyelid that he now has (but occasionally his double eyelid pops out)

@PockyPuri His eyes look bigger now because he wears contact lens and eye make up. Contact lens can really make your eyes look bigger. That's my own experience. U don't need to go for eye surgery to make them look bigger. But i think he may have done double eyelid. And this hair style doesn't suit him.

I actually don't know if I think he's gotten surgery. But I assume that he hasn't. Up close he does look a little different than the jaejoong that we're all familiar with but in the audition clip he looks the same (of course, minus the weird hair). @pinkwind87 As much as I love Jaejoong, I have to say he definitely got his nose raised. If you see his pictures during hug, he didn't have that high of a nose. If you're talking about the surgeried nose, there's a method to reshape your nose without going under knife. There's this type of filler thing that is injected into your nose or nose bridge and can be shaped to make it the way you want it to be like. It's only temporary so you would have to do the injection again after 12-18 months.

I used to hav same features as Jaejoong. Small eyes, face shape and almost the same nose except his nose bridge is a little bit higher and bigger at the end. Now that i lost weight my face shape is almost like him now but mine still looks chubbier. What changed are his eyes which probably from the surgery or fats he ate to get muscles and his nose because it looks sharper and pointier. His eyebrows he must have shape it up. Overall make up makes him look even better.

Whatever, I don't care if he's got plastic surgery or not, but seriously, all celebrities weren't that good looking in the past.
Nicole Kidman's high school photos are displayed in our school corridor, and she looks hella different. Frizzy red hair, and everything haha.
But she looks pretty now, doesn't she?

And for people who are like, even with plastic surgery cannot achieve his face, WRONG. If you understand the mechanics of plastic surgery, IT IS CAPABLE of achieving any face! I'm a fan as well, but I shouldn't be blind, and so I say the truth. You all should accept this.

Omg, for the last time He did have surgery. If you look at his picture with his biological mother his facial features have changed. By now everyone should know this, (OH! a girl is pretty but she does makeup to be prettier. it's not like she did makeup, if she no makeup she's ugly. if a girl is ugly, makeup wont help much unless she do big surgery.

some people are too immature to think that if people said jaejoong did surgery, he only handsome because of it. his eyes r already pretty. jz that double eyelids make eyes looks bigger n sharper lookin which makes him damn hot nw.

many people have had plastic, and they all look amazing after. but not one stands out like jaejoong does.
jaejoong has a not just perfect, but very unique face that plastic alone cannot accomplish. he was blessed with the right features.
but at the end of the day, the reason why we all love jaejoong is not just because of his looks. his good humour and warm character have greater parts to play.

i just cant's understand. its a common knowledge 90% korean idols make surgery at least minor ones.. jaejoong does his eyelids while junsu does his nose to looks sharper. ther'es nth wrong with minor surgery. he' s normal lookin in the past but after surgery he jz looks damn hot. pls c his eyes size n eyelids. its so obvious. u ppl r denial. surgery is not a sin so if he did it, ppl still love him .. whats wrong ? tey even do makeup b4 appear on tv. tat's normal.

to be honest, how jaejoong looks now is wayyy too perfect for him not to have plastic surgery. but even normal people who had plastic surgery cant look as good as him now.
and actully, how he looks here is not too bad. he's pretty cute and i would be attracted to him. the reason why all of you say he's ugly is coz you compare jaejoong here to how jaejoong looks now.

I think JJ lost a lot of baby fat on his face, that's why he looks different. I know this because it's my experience. I was fat before but when I lost weight my face looked somehow different. Ur facial features somehow got sharper. But I appreciate JJ because of his voice not his looks.

he indeed did surgery. he himself admitted. but its not a big deal. y u guys have to say he did surgery to be hot ? he is hot, but doing surgery is to make him hotter. y u style ur hair ? because u wan make u look better. same theory. unless u do plastic surgery to change ur whole outlook, then that' diff case. he oni did double eyelid,eyebrow, nose n some minor stuff. his eyes r bigger now compare to this video.

i think his eyes are just bigger because he lost a lot of baby fat on his face. cuz he has the double eyelid before debut and some ppl just aren't born with it and they get it during their life without surgery (like me!) and the only minor plastic surgery is really pretty much his nose...
