Even though the acoustics aren't great, one can still hear that Ian Wheeler is an absolute clarinet god! My favourite British jazz clarinettist.

Thanks for your comment! This is a amateur-clip (quality of sound...), but, that's true: Ian is a clarinet god and a very friendly and sociable musician!

When I've heard in my 15th Age of the first LP by Chris Barber, Ian Wheeler became my role model. And then, when my own band in 2006 celebrated the 20 anniversary (43 years later!), and Ian traveled exclusively for two concerts with the Loverfield Jazzband to Switzerland, this was for me the highlight of my career! I am happy that a fan has made these videos. Sorry for my terrible english...
