@ithetechnodj You really do have to be inspired by your instrument. You need to love it and not be able to get enough of it. If you're bored by your instrument, it's time for something new.

@ithetechnodj Good day, firstly I am a 62 yo musician and still going strong. Whatever u believe about yourself is what you become my young friend. Bass is the opposite of guitar. All I can say is follow the drummer and sometimes the drummer follows u (at least that has been my experience). Never listen to those who discourage u, always listen to those who say. "You can do it" because you can. You need the ability to live and breathe your instrument and LOVE music..

@ithetechnodj it isnt ... u just need to have fun with it an keep improving ur self .. may get challenging at times but its pretty easy . once you've got all the techniques correct
